RANCH LIFE! Guest House on Ranch with Pool & Hot Tub

Our ranch is located approximately 8 miles north of Weatherford, Texas. The guest house is 600 square feet offering clean, comfortable accommodations for a single traveler or a couple.

The guest house is located near another rental and has a large porch, swimming pool, hot tub, fire pit and pellet grill. The porch is the perfect space for relaxing with a book and enjoying nature.

The guest house is fully furnished with heat/air, large TVs in the living room and bedroom, free wifi, mini fridge, air fryer/toaster oven, microwave and drip coffee maker. There are lots of windows with beautiful views of the ranch and cattle. The bedroom has a king size bed with nice linens and ceiling fan. The kitchen is equipped with a 2-burner cooktop, air fryer/toaster oven and everything needed to cook small meals and grill. The guest house has a clean bathroom with a modern full glass shower and fresh towels.

(No smoking is allowed inside the house and all guests use the pool at their own risk.)

We are available on-site, upon request, to assure your comfort, but we also respect your privacy during your stay. The pool is shared with the Farmhouse.

The ranch is a beautiful setting with 2 ponds and 130 acres. There are also free-range chickens and a rescue horse. We are 30 miles from Fort Worth and Granbury, 15 miles from Springtown and 50 miles from Glen Rose. We are less than 10 minutes from historic Weatherford which offers many shops, antiques, restaurants and wineries nearby.

We do allow a pet under 30 pounds but must be approved in advance. Since we have free range chickens, a pet must be leashed when outside. We do not allow a pet to be left alone in the house, so if you leave, you will need to take with you or crate. The pool has a liner so no pet is allowed in the swimming pool.

We welcome extended stays. The Barn, listing 4490506, and Farmhouse, listing 3496467, are also located on the ranch.

A Little Piece of Heaven

What a lovely getaway. If you feel you forgot to pack something, no worries. The Aggie Shack, where we stayed, had ALL the needed amenities. So peaceful, waking up to the cows grazing in the pasture, the chickens in the yard, a cool breeze throughout, just paradise. Communication was great with the owners. The drive into town wasn't far. My only regret, I didn't come sooner, stay was far too short, felt like a dream.

My stay at this Vrbo was nothing short of serene and peaceful. The journey to the property was a delight, with beautiful streets leading up to a breathtaking accommodation. The sight of cows grazing on the land, the quietness, and the gentle breeze that made a hot Texas day feel lovely all contributed to an idyllic atmosphere. The pool was phenomenal, the bed incredibly comfortable, and the hosts were remarkable. They respected my privacy while also making sure I knew they were available if needed. Got there at night and property had tons of beautiful Christmas lights on fencing and structures. Simple to follow instructions, supremely quite and relaxing. Beautiful little structure well cleaned and has everything you could need or want. We will go back and stay here just to hang out in the town. Super nice folks that own and run it.

What a cute little house - the perfect size for a couple - and BEAUTIFUL, quiet surroundings. The hosts were very friendly and told us the history of their family land. We LOVED the pool and the ability to just unpack and stay for the whole weekend. We'd love to return next summer.
