  • Gelegen in het hart van het Fingerlakes Wine Country - Onze plek in Watkins Glen, NY is het perfecte vertrekpunt voor zoveel geweldige reizen! Het appartement ligt op slechts een paar minuten lopen van Watkins Glen State Park, een must-see landschap! Slenter de heuvel af en u bevindt zich direct tussen de vele restaurants en winkels in het centrum. Spring in je auto en rijd slechts een paar minuten naar beide zijden van Seneca Lake en proef in een van de kenmerkende wijnmakerijen, brouwerijen of distilleerderijen van het gebied.

    Dit appartement heeft twee slaapkamers. Elke kamer heeft een queensize bed. In de woonkamer hebben we een queensize slaapbank. We hebben ook een queensize opblaasbaar luchtbed. Dit appartement kan comfortabel slapen 6 in bedden en 8 als je nodig hebt om in een groep te knijpen!

    We hebben aan al uw wensen gedacht en zouden u, uw familie en vrienden graag in ons huis ontvangen. Deze ruimte is het complete onderste gedeelte van een oud Victoriaans huis dat liefdevol The Vintage Raceway House wordt genoemd vanwege de locatie met uitzicht op het oude racecircuit.

    Centraal gelegen in het hart van Fingerlakes Wine County. Het is in 2015 gerenoveerd met het oog op het behouden van de geschiedenis van het pand, maar het in de 21e eeuw te brengen. Ons huis is vrij ruim met voldoende keukenruimte en een grote eetkamer. De woonkamer is enorm met voldoende zitplaatsen voor al uw familie en vrienden! Met uitnodigende houten vloeren en originele lijstwerk is dit huis vol licht en comfort!

The lower apartment was great. Felt very homey. Place was clean, kitchen was well stocked and we would definitely consider staying there again.

Gorge-ous

Easy walk to town, spacious accommodations, quiet location, comfy beds. Enjoyed our stay immensely, right down to the thoughtful dog bowls.

Great location

The property is in a perfect location! It could probably use a bit of a facelift — some paint and general maintenance esp if the wonderful front porch. But all in all, a good value and good place to stay!

This was a great property to stay at. Good location, everything you could possibly need and super cute. The photos really didn't do the place justice. I would certainly stay again.

Wonderful spot

This rental has a scenic view, while being so close to town and Watkins Glen State Park. It is also an easy drive to many wineries and we easily drove to Keuka Lake and Ithaca on separate occasions. So many beautiful places and delicious wines close by!

Wonderful Stay

This is a great property with everything you could need. It’s in a great location and very comfortable. The porch was great for morning coffee and evening games (until the mosquitoes came out). Would stay here again!

While tricky to find (so I don’t recommend arriving after dark), the apartment is charming and comfortable. I loved the spacious private porch. Kitchen was great, with clear instructions for using coffee maker. I would stay here again!

Quaint historic home

This place was super cute as well as being built in the 1800's which I loved! It was close to everything and had anything you may have forgotten. The owner works at the visitor center so there was a wealth of info on places to eat and things to do. Super nice hosts we would defiantly stay with them again.

Home Away From Home

This is a beautiful, clean older house with lots of character. We have stayed in many vacation rentals but none as well-appointed as this one, Caitlin has truly thought of everything. Very close to downtown and lots of wineries.

We absolutely love this place. We stayed here last year as well. The space is perfect and so well stocked with anything anyone might forget. The porch is great and so is the little pet area up top. We're big fans.

Everything was very clean and the older home seemed well maintained. Nice view from the front porch. Host texted her a day of arrival and invited us to check in and say hi I don’t know your licensewhere she worked.

Very comfortable! Everything was clean and there were lots of supplies around (like condiments in the fridge, lots of items in the bathroom etc). We were out and about during the day as there are some great waterfalls and unlimited choices for beer and wine in the area. We were very thankful for the nice lights around the porch, it made it easy to find our way to the right spot each evening. Very homey! Thank you for the great accomodations.

Beautiful Place

We really enjoyed our stay. The owners provide everything you need including shampoo and soaps. The place feels like home so warm and inviting. The beds were very comfortable. We met the owners and they are very nice and respond right away if you have any issues. The location is close to Watkins Glen and town. Beautiful views from the front porch. We would definitely stay again.

The apartment was well-stocked, clean, and spacious. We enjoyed lounging on the front porch overlooking the mountains and a glimpse of the lake, even though traffic was loud. I did not notice traffic noise in the bedrooms. I did notice the guests upstairs walking about when I was in the bedroom late at night, and maybe additional floor covering could help with that.My one suggestion is that the host figure out a way to help if the guest is locked out. I opened the door, set down my phone inside, and the door locked when I went to get my luggage. So I had no way to communicate with the host to find out the door code and was locked out until I found a neighbor who kindly helped me call the host.Otherwise, the place is clean and has all the basics and more. The A/C worked well during my stay, and the location is great - walkable to restaurants etc.

Great location. Well equipped home

Appreciated the cleanliness. If you forgot anything it is probably there from your shampoo to a toothbrush! Very well equipped and lots of information regarding where to eat and what to do in area. We did not not use the balcony or fire pit area as it was raining some but looked nice. Would definitely stay here again.

Long weekend in Watkins

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay visiting family for a celebration of life and reunion. Our second time returning to your place and we will return again. We especially enjoy the quiet morning enjoying a cup of coffee, sitting on the front porch that oversees Seneca Lake. Highly recommend! Everything you might forget to bring when traveling, they have thought of and provide!
