we wanted to stay in Warrenton, near Astoria & the peninsula. this was closer to Cannon Beach. 12 miles on hwy 101 from Warrenton and in an HOA. it was nice that it was gated but diving 1,5 miles thru an HOA was a drag. no services anywhere near this property that is in much need of maintenance. it just wasn't what we expected. sorry but that's the way it is.
The house was clean inside, overall comfortable, lots of useable space, especially quiet at night. All appliances we tried worked well. The furniture was comfortable, including the king bed. Fenced backyard was a plus. The sliding patio door needs maintenance, it was especially difficult to open and close. Screen door too needs adjusting or replacement - it repeatedly fell off the track opening and closing it. On arrival, there were 4-5 dog poops we picked up on the backyard grass. The combination lock to get in was very flaky - took five times with reset waits before the sixth time when finally it unlocked. Similar experience next day after we'd returned from the beach.Great value, we'd stay again if in the area.
We loved so much about this place! The size, dog friendly, proximity to beach and other activities. It was nice having a roomy backyard with option for fires and games in the garage. Would stay there again in a heart beat!
There were 4 of us senior gals staying here for 2 nights and we just loved the house and amenities. This house is very clean, comfortable and beds are comfortable. Location is good, in between Astoria and Seaside/Cannon Beach areas. The only thing that I have negative to say is that the shower in the main bedroom is very slippery, it needs a bath mat or something to make it non slippery, as we all 4 used the shower in that bathroom, because the shower in the other bathroom has a very deep tub to step into and not easy for us Seniors to use, and each one of us almost slipped while showering. Also the pillows are terrible. Other than these two things the place is very nice and in a quite neighborhood. We would stay there again.
This home was laid out well, with a very inviting, open living space as well as three comfortable bedrooms. It was well-equipped for cooking, and it offered a variety of activities, including foosball, darts, and ping pong in the garage. We also appreciated that it was pet-friendly, as our dogs travel everywhere with us. The weather was poor (we had come for a memorial service, not for a beach trip), but I expect that the nearby beach would be a significant attraction in sunny weather. I would definitely recommend this home for other travelers.
Lovely property! The backyard is fenced which is great if you have dogs with you. The location is clean and well maintained. Beds were average. Fridge filter was clean providing clean fresh water (this is important to me. XD) About a fifteen minute walk from the beach. A great location, I would happily stay here again in the future.
