Kamer was proper.

'Prima verblijf gehad. Heerlijke bedden! '

'The public areas were a bit dark and gloomy. The bedroom was hot and stuffy even with the windows open. Some furniture was quite old fashioned but the bed was comfortable enough. The food was OK but lacked better wine choices. The breakfast was a bit too greasy. Staff were friendly and helpful.'

'Nice location, great facilities but very outdated. The maintenance is poor. No paint left on the outside and several rooms and corridors need updating. The staff is good and do what you expect from this kind of hotel. The swiming pool is old and a bit past its glory. Peebles is a nice place to stay but needs a update urgently'

'Convenient location bang in the middle of Selkirk. Hotel has a nice bar and restaurant with attentive and friendly staff. Breakfast very good but, at £35 a head, very expensive.'

Omgeving erg mooi.

'Zeer vriendelijke bediening, veel service, toprestaurant, leuke gerant. Omgeving een plaatje '

'Great historical venue, beautiful parkland. Good breakfast. Kind staff. Bedroom: bed too soft, scandalous ‘roll-down’ IKEA curtains that do not block the morning light. Bathroom rudimentary shower (max height 1.70m) with trickling water. '

'We had an amazing time here. The hotel is beautiful and everyone was so lovely and helpful. The breakfast was great. The view was nice. It’s quiet. They have lots of games and there are some nice hikes nearby. Do yourself a favour and stay here!'

'Very helpful chap checked me in, nice room, nice bathroom etc'

'The restaurant next door was lovely for a quick bite. The room and hotel were great and a good location for our needs. The staff was excellent. The only thing we found that could have been better was our shower head was leaking sideways and was impossible to keep it from creating a tiny river on the bathroom floor.
