Positief: Staat van de accommodatie en faciliteiten
I recently stayed at the Copthorne Hotel in Paihia. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the hotel grounds were clean and well-kept. Unfortunately, the overall experience was let down by the poor quality of the room.
The room itself was old and dated, with several lights not working and noticeable dust on shelves and surfaces. Being located so close to the service room made it quite noisy at times, which affected the ability to relax or sleep.
Parking was limited, which added some frustration, though the in-room dining was a highlight. The food was flavoursome and enjoyable overall, but my burger came smothered in far too much unmelted cheese, which took away from what could’ve been a great meal.
while the staff and grounds were good, the tired room condition and lack of attention to maintenance made it hard to justify the cost of the stay. Would only consider returning if the rooms were updated.
