'Seemless check in. The room is modern and updated. The most important part of the hotel, in my opinion, is the bed. This bed was very comfortable. The pillow was decent, as well. It wasn't one of those puff balls that a lot of hotels have that give your neck no support. The breakfast bar was the typical of what you will find. Overall good two night stay.'

'Hotel was great. Extremely friendly staff and very clean overall. Hotel itself was quiet and the restaurant was amazing (make reservation). Outside the hotel was noisy but I guess that is to be expected. It’s a college town. It’s not the dorms that are noisy, it’s the students (I guess they were students) partying in the apartments just behind the hotel. Overall, great experience. We would and probably will stay here again. '

'As former visitors of the Colony House before our move to Roanoke, we were thrilled the motel was saved and renovated in a return to its former glory. We and some friends staycationed there this past week, and had a glorious time. The AGM greeted us warmly, made us feel welcome from the minute we entered the checkin.
