'Victor went above and beyond as our host. Before even checking into the house, he helped set up transportation, rental cars, and a restaurant reservation recommended by him. His house was absolutely beautiful, and he greeted us upon our arrival to show us around the property. Thanks to him, we also had a unique lunch experience at this tavern on our first full day in town. Would reccomend to anyone!'

'Definitely one of the best places we have stayed. There is a train station to Porto less than three minutes' walk away. In addition to the many restaurants, there is a wonderful water park for children. A great deal of help was provided by our host (Bernardo) with directions as well as being very responsive.'

'We have spent 12 wonderful days in Quinta dos lemoes. The house is beautiful and there is more than enough space for 8 people. The four bedrooms are large and looks like hotel rooms. One of them is the master bedroom, with a very spacious bathroom, a dressing room and air-conditioning. All rooms offer a tremendous view on the valley. 'The views are stunning. The pool was great with temperatures outside between 35-39 degrees. Young and old(er) enjoyed it. The location is a bit remote, so going out for dinner is a good drive away. There are several options for walks in the area, with variations in scenery.'

La literie est confortable et il y a tout le nécessaire dans les salles d’eau (produits et linge). La cuisine est bien équipée mais la hotte est un peu basse. 'Als je op zoek bent naar rust en ruimte is deze woning perfect. Een auto is wel echt nodig,want het ligt afgelegen. Het enige minpuntje is dat het huis en de omgeving niet makkelijk toegankelijk zijn voor mensen die wat minder goed kunnen bewegen. Voor de rest was het perfect.'

'We had a nice stay at the house. It is spacious and well situated for a relaxing stay. A very large garden with nice cherry trees and raspberry bushes. The house has most of the needed enmities. You can see though that it’s not kept at the highest level as not all areas are to the standard that you would expect with the house. Broken furniture, bad quality mattresses few pieces of worn out furniture. It’s a 7/10 where with some upgrades and a little bit more love it could be easily a 10/10....

'Fijn groot traditioneel huis. Zowel binnen als buiten schoon. Heerlijk groot en helder zwembad. Persoonlijke ontvangst prettig. Ondanks de warmte geen airco of ventilator gemist, deuren en ramen konden open blijven, er waren geen muggen. Schitterend uitzicht. Wel goede schoenen aan doen om bij het zwembad te komen, steil en niet echt naast het huis. Absoluut een aanrader!'

Vegan friendly place, amazing view and kind staff
"We had an amazing stay. The staff is kind and will do everything to ensure you have a pleasant stay. We asked for a vegan breakfast, and the staff, since they weren't sure what we would eat, asked what we loved and ensured we got it. If you're vegan- just let them know in advance what you prefer (the supermarkets nearby have a lot of vegan products). The view was breathtaking, and the entire place was unique and felt like home. The room we had was super comfortable and although the place has great pictures, in real, the room looked even better than the pictures. So overall - the high rank is definitely justified! We had an amazing time and hope to come back again in the future!"
