'This is a fantastic hotel that I would recommend to all.'

'Stunning property, gorgeous & delightfully helpful owners ( Doug & Kay)& in a beautiful part of the country. Close to good restaurants, historical villages & towns. Just a perfect weekend retreat.'

'Staff was very friendly, super quiet hotel with air conditioning. Very clean.'

'Very dated rooms & uncomfortable beds no air conditioning or fan. Breakfast only available 8.30 -9 am even though the information card in the room states 8.30-9.30, was told this is only at weekends? So why doesn’t information card state this? Two of us went for breakfast after 9 and was refused. Chef was only able to make a bacon sandwich. Coffee was thick and gloopy and undrinkable . 'Vanessa and Steve were exceptional hosts and the facilities at “The Foxes Den” suited us perfectly. Everything was most satisfactory and we ended our stay with a delicious full English breakfast which kept us going for quite a while!!! We would recommend a stay there to everyone visiting the area for a peaceful and very comfortable night.'

'Very good'

'Due to a VRBO double booking, this was a last-minute booking @ around 6:30pm. They welcomed us in with open arms and made the stay most enjoyable. Glad we got double-booked!'

'Great hotel'

'Prima hotel. Geen lawaai prima ontbijt.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.'

'Lovely welcome very friendly'

'Cory, the manager of The Fox, is a lovely host. Super hard working, he is around to serve breakfast and still managing the bar late at night. Nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are spacious and warm. Parking is immediately outside the rooms and easily accessed. Bury St Edmund’s is a lovely town with excellent shopping and coffee shops. Strongly recommend staying at The Fox for visiting Bury St Edmunds.'
