'Ben’s place was very cozy and comfortable. The location was great. Close to UConn and in a pretty area. The set up was great with a very comfortable bed, stocked kitchen, lots of hot water. The owner also freshly ground our coffee. The only downside was the sounds from the owners main house above-footsteps, voices… all normal but hard to ignore-sound proofing would go a long way. Good stay overall. '

Bathroom sink looked like it was just wiped down. The chrome around the drain was dirty and could be wiped off with your finger. 'Terrible…absolutely terrifying arrival for me… The renter failed to communicate the room number, access code to the room, and/or a useable Wi-Fi connection… I was alone, unable to access my room, and received NO answers when I texted, repeatedly. 'Host: Great communication, easy check in.Cleanliness: The apartment needs some TLC. The bathtub has blue stains, there were no bathroom towel racks (just holes where they used to be), and in general the pictures online seem to be enhanced/docotored to make the apartment seem more upscale than it actually is. 'I had wondered about the amenities. the coffee pot was not cleaned , actually had mold in it , and the carpet was lifting at one corner, where i kept tripping on it. I certainly appreciated the rest ! As it was during the turkey holiday and easy to find through downtown Hartford '
