'The hotel was surprisingly nice. Being off highway, I expected a somewhat run down building and motel but to my surprise, the room and bathroome were clean, the refrigerator was large and the room was fairly well lit. Breakfast for buffet was good - maybe a few more tables instead of scrunching over end tables would have been better. Overall, we were quite happy with this place, much more so than the town.'

'We stayed in the 8-room converted barn. The room very large and a pleasant surprise featuring a great view, soaking tub in the living area, gas fireplace, and a very comfortable king bed. I would give Windham Hill Inn five stars, but I deducted a star because of a clogged bathroom sink, a difficult to control HVAC system, and live and dead bugs in the room. Although somewhat dated, the room was spectacular for the price. '

'David greeted me warmly and gave so much local information. I asked about the EV charger and although it was in use when we got there, it was available and so convenient when we got back from dinner. He even offered to move us to a room closer to the charger, but I said not to bother. The building is not so big that it is any inconvenience to walk the length of the building. Bottom line, we have been pleased so far. It's a shame we are only here for one night. This would be a great home base...

'Bij aankomst stond al het meubilair buiten op straat. Grote containers stonden op het terrein. Sommige kamers werden bewoond door de werklui of door mensen die er niet schoon uitzagen. 'The house was excellent and the view of the pond was amazing! But what we appreciated the most was Michele's help and communication about the snowstorm that was set to hit the area. 'Really nice hotel in a beautiful setting. Unfortunately we weren't in the main building. This is the only downside I experienced. I thought we were staying in the building from the pictures but were sent to a building across the street. No TV in our room which wasn't nice since I had to wait for a while until my husband could join me for dinner.'

'We had a great stay. Everything we needed was there. Only issue was I couldn't do anything with VRBO on my cell. I signed in and found no links to the property information. AND, plenty of advertising to book another trip. Had to go to the local library to fire up my computer so that we could communicate with the host, Tyler. He was awesome and responded to all my communication promptly. We will be back.'
