Welcome to Tigers Den! Here in Venice, you can enjoy world class fishing and waterfowl hunting during your stay. This waterfront property has central air conditioning and heat and furnished with a fully equipped kitchen, living room, 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths.

The bedrooms have ample enough room to accommodate up to 9 guests. There is a master bedroom with a beautiful queen bed. In each of the remaining bedrooms, there are 2 bunk style beds with a full bed at the bottom and a single bed above. Adjacent to the bedrooms are 2 full baths with a standup shower equipped with bath soap, shampoo and conditioner dispenser. Towels and toilet paper are provided for our guests. After your day out on the water, come back and relax in our spacious living room and fully stocked kitchen combo. Perfect for cooking your catch of the day while socializing with friends as they relax while watching our 65 inchTV equipped with Dish Network (including sports channels) and rest comfortably on a full size sofa with a stand alone chair. We also have a picnic style table that can seat 6 and 3 barstools along the kitchen bar which provides ample seating for you and your guests. The kitchen is equipped with a full size refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, stove, coffeemaker (coffee is provided). Don't have time to prepare a meal for you and your guests? No problem, The Dock is our newly renovated restaurant in the marina and has some of the finest cajun cuisine prepared daily for guests. The Dock will also prepare your catch of the day for you! Be sure to contact them directly prior to your stay to check their hours of operation. The Tiger's Den also has a covered front porch area with fans and seating for you and your guests to enjoy the evening sunset and sounds of the bayou as you reminisce the memories made that day. There is also an ice machine available to ice down your catch of the day. Should you happen to bring your own boat down to Venice, you can enjoy the convenience of launching and fueling directly at Cypress Cove Marina. You can also tie your boat off to the Tiger's Den as well for added convenience. Please note, we do not allow pets.

Cypress Cove Marina sets the stage for fun and enjoying the great outdoors. Cypress Cove Marina has a multi by boat launch with a fuel dock area. We are located 93 miles from New Orleans International Airport and approximately 63 miles from downtown New Orleans. Free parking at Cypress Cove Marina is available to our guests.

Great Experience!

Excellent stay at the Tigers Den. Alligators everywhere! Perfect stay for our family fishing trip. Only down thing is no breakfast places in the area so bring your own food.

The accommodations were comfortable for our group of 6! The house was clean & had all that was needed to host our fishing event. Down for fishing trip. Our captain was able to pick us from the dock in his 40’ boat. Deck views were great, lot’s of wildlife, alligators osprey etc. House and kitchen nicely set up for cooking and resting fatter hard fishing days. Would rent again.

Fishing houseboat

This property was conveniently located with most of the basic necessities. Unfortunately, the kitchen was not clean making meal preparation difficult. Even so, the rest of the house was well cared for. A bonus was a private ice machine and fish cleaning station on the front porch.

Took several clients on a fishing trip had the boats pick us up from the dock on the backside of the place and drop us off inshore and off shore boats fit ice machine and grill was great to have big a+ for everything there to make the trip memorable

outstanding houseboat

can't say enough about Tigers Den-extremely clean, furnishing are very comfortable, loaded with kitchen utensils . Our charter picked us up at our front door(dock)so there was NO loading up the car , driving g to the boat unloading all of your stuff and taking it to the boat(and reverse at the end of your day. Enjoyed sitting on your porch(dock) with a beer watching the GATORS swimming around and the sun setting lighting up the Cyprus across the bay

Son’s HS Senior Trip

The property was great, very clean and easy to access. We brought our boat so it was great being able to park it right in front of house. The ice machine is a plus, just load up the boat coolers and fish boxes before heading out to the high seas. Communication with the owner was great, he is very responsive and accommodating. It would be nice to have a chest freezer outside on the porch to freeze your catch. We like to vacuum seal our fish fillets and freeze them right away. It did not take long to run out of space in the house freezer. I definitely recommend Tigers Den and would stay there again.

Tigers den getaway

We used this for homebase to do some serious fishing for a few days and it worked great! Charter captains will pick you up right off the back porch. JTs offshore and pelican charters put us on the tuna. Jacob at salty marsh charters took care of the inshore charters and did great! Would stay in tigers den again, everything worked out great

Great Property!

We had a great time at the Tiger’s Den. Donny took great care of us and the property was exactly as advertised. Clean, great location and sets up well for anyone fishing out of Cypress Cove or Venice Marina. Will definitely stay here for our next trip.

A clean stay for our 2023 Nutria Rodeo

Our group of 4 adults stayed at the Tiger’s Den for the 2023 Nutria Rodeo that was run out of Venice Marina. The Tiger’s Den was extremely clean, which was a concern after we found out our houseboat in Venice Marina had mice in it during our trip in 2022. The tiger’s Den has no signs of bugs, which in Louisiana even roaches are common to find inside. Cypress Cove Marina was quiet and the people were very friendly. The Tiger’s Den was also tucked away pretty well in the marina which allowed us to leave our boat tied off overnight. The Tiger’s Den had all the amenities we required for our stay and the throw blankets were a nice addition for the living room. The beds were very comfortable and we all had ample pillows available. The back down fee at the marina’s boat ramp is $10 per back-down. The marina had multiple dumpsters which made discarding our trash very easy, just a short drive from the house boat.
