The nearest shop, restaurant and other facilities are in village Vela Luka, about 8 km away. It is possible to hire a car, motorbike, boat or bike in Vela Luka. A taxi service and a boat taxi service are available, too. Rich in Mediterranean vegetation, vineyards, olive groves, small villages, lovely secluded coves and cultural heritage, the island of Korcula is great for touring around. The main islands town Korcula town dates back to ancient Greeks time. It is vivid and picturesque town and it worth a visit as well as the peninsula Peljesac, which is just across the channel.
