  • Our bright 435SF basement suite has been newly finished and furnished by a profession Interior Designer. There is 1 bedroom, 1 bath (with shower/tub), refrigerator, stove/oven, dishwasher, and clothes washer and dryer.

    Our home is a very short walk into Edgemont Village where there are numbers of coffee shops, shopping, library, etc. It is also just a short drive or transit to the North Shore mountains where you can enjoying hiking, biking and skiing/boarding or close to the highway and you will be in Squamish or Whistler before you know it.

This is very nice accommodation. It was modern, clean, comfortable, and had all of the amenities that we could ever hope to use. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to others. It is particularly handy being so close to Edgemont Village, which is a beautiful spot with a supermarket and a couple of nice restaurants.

This place is amazing for a solo traveller or couple. Well located just off the bus line to downtown. Edgemont Village is within walking distance with trendy restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance. The hosts were responsive and kind. We would definitely return.

We couldn't have been happier with our stay. An amazing part of Vancouver to stay in - the cutest town. Our hosts were excellent and the property is exactly as shown. This is the place you need to stay in Van!

A little bit of Haven in North Vancouver

We stayed for a week at the Haven for a much needed couples getaway from life and kids. We celebrated our anniversary, a 40th birthday and Father’s Day. The Haven is located in a very welcoming, walkable neighborhood with nearby restaurants, shops and grocery stores. Plus the convenience to nearby attractions made our trip more enjoyable! It was the perfect!

Trusted Location

Everything on the listing was extremely accurate, down to the time to Capilano Park and things to do in Edgemont Village. Location is extremely quiet. Communicating with the owners was very easy leading up to and during the stay. We had a great time staying here!

A rare and perfect get-away

This suite is private, clean and cozy. Well furnished, with a very comfortable bed, and fully equipped kitchen. In a quiet residential neighbourhood., walking distance to 'the village' for all amenities. The hosts are caring and friendly, never intrusive. A great home-away from home.

The property had everything that was needed in the suite. Nothing was skimped on like in some places I have stayed at and all was good quality. I did find one issue regarding cleaning the room from a previous stay but it was minor and likely a one time thing.

Great location, close to shops, restaurants and transit to downtown or Lonsdale. Comfortable bed and good shower pressure. Washing machine and tumble drier in suite, and good internet.Suite is small and limited natural light (had a power cut all day during my stay and it was very dark)There is no noise insulation between suite and owners upstairs. You hear footsteps quite loudly, shower and toilet and it starts around 6.15am. I bought ear plugs and highly recommend their use if you are a light sleeper.Sump pump for toilet and waste water is loud when activated and is in the wardrobe in bedroom.I stayed for 2 weeks. No cleaning products or spare sheets. I would have liked to clean bathroom and toilet, and wipe down surfaces. Washed my sheets after 1st week but had to stay in until dried. There is nowhere to dry washed items except tumble drier. An aired would be a great addition. Be aware that there is nowhere to sit outside (except at top or bottom of stairs). It would have been nice to enjoy a morning coffee in the sun. A suggestion to move the clock on wall behind sofa as you cannot sit back to relax and I banged my head several times.The owners do not check in. They ask you to text if you need anything but I didn’t like to bother them. On my last morning a cleaner entered the suite at 9am (checkout was 11) and I felt that I was being hurried to leave.Definitely a 1010 for location and accessibility to North Vancouver and Downtown. Noise would be a big factor for me
