Negatief: Netheid, staat van de accommodatie en faciliteiten
I honestly can’t believe the most recent “positive” reviews for the Langley Hwy Hotel—they are not accurate at all.
When I arrived, there was no receptionist—just a clipboard in the window saying they’d be back in half an hour. I had to call a cellphone number and was told, “oh I just left on break… I’ll figure it out.” I ended up sitting in my car waiting until someone eventually came down.
The room itself was just as disappointing. The TV had sound but no picture (just a black screen). There wasn’t even a proper blanket on the bed—just a sheet and a thin fleece liner from the 60’s, and it was freezing overnight. The toilet wouldn’t stop running after flushing and made noise all night.
On top of that, there were stains all over the carpet, and the bed was rock hard and felt like it hasn’t been replaced in years.
Overall, the place feels extremely outdated—like nothing has been updated in decades. I definitely wouldn’t stay here again.
