'What an amazing place to visit. Great for couples. Staff was amazing, food was good. Not close to shopping or restaurants, it’s on a hill, but the view is amazing. Walking distance to downtown, all downhill. Parking is tricky, but staff is helpful. Lots of places to visit and explore within the city.'
'An older Italian-style hotel in an attractive part of Valparaiso. Spread out over 4 floors (against a hill) you will like this hotel if you love 'characteristic', somewhat quaint hotels. If you are looking for modern comforts, you may be disappointed. Take a room with a seaside view. Many bars and restaurants in the area.'
'The only problem we experienced was the fact that the hotel had live music in the restaurant until very late in the night.
We had a very early start the next morning and did not get much sleep!'
'While the Expedia listing was inaccurate (there are no rooms with a king bed and two doubles/twins), the staff did their best to accommodate us. The hotel is close to a city elevator; just make sure to catch it before it closes, or you will be hiking up several flights of stairs. The lounge areas throughout the property, including the outdoor terraces, were wonderful for our group of six to relax. The included breakfast and the views from the restaurant were amazing!'
