Jamevin Mountain retreat - Hidden Gem Perfect for Families & Large Groups

Jamevin Lodge is a unique custom built family holiday home, boasting 7 large bedrooms including 6 bathrooms and great entertaining areas for up to 25
people.

This house is nestled in bushland on top of a 400ha mountain top resort with bush walking trails and access to a communal tennis court & pool (located a 4 min walk from the house).

The home also includes a private hot spa on your large private deck nestled in 5 acres . To make your stay a genuine pleasure the lodge Includes such activities as a pool table, darts, area for cricket, basket ball, net ball, foot ball, or just relax in front of a fire place.

Expansive verandas/balcony provide spectacular views across the Hunter region toward Maitland and one of Australia's largest and awe-inspiring National Parks.

Guests can discover our mountaintop wilderness resort in a variety of ways. On foot, in, Mountain Bikes or relaxing bush walks. Every day can be an adventure from the accessible private rain-forest, to the lookout at the Mount George Trig Station.

Coo-ee Trail in Vacy is a nature-based resort with over 640 acres (259ha) of natural adventure land featuring an amazing variety of fauna and flora. Native animals which have made Coo-ee Trail their home include; Kangaroos, Wallaroos, Wallabies, Echidnas, Goannas and that is before you look skyward and marvel at King Parrots, Eastern and Crimson Rosellas, Red-Browed Firetails, Blue Wrens, Bush Doves and our namesake, the majestic Wedge tailed Eagle.

It can cater for a large family or group who wish to completely escape into a bushland retreat with all the luxury of your own house.

The 18m by 5m deck offers plenty of space to enjoy the company of friends while relaxing in the spa, cooking on the BBQ or just lazing in the sun.

Please note, we have installed 2 outdoor cameras at the property for security purposes: One is monitoring the driveway to the property & car park, and the other is covering the deck area (facing towards the dining table).

Big house in Vacy

Our stay was wonderful. House has everything you need for large groups. Family really enjoyed the hot tub and playing pool. Large porch is enclosed which made it easy to watch the kids play while adults relaxed. Thanks for a great stay Denis.

Amazing stay

We had a great time at Jamevin! All the bedrooms are large and most have ensuites which our guests loved. The main kitchen/dining/lounge area is huge and has all the things you could need for a stay. Amazing views and loved the spa. Only downfall was no wifi and the mobile data is patchy.

Perfect for Groups

Firstly thank you to Denis who was a fantastic host! I would highly recommend Jamevin which is an awesome property in a stunning location. It was perfect for our group of ladies celebrating the end of our sporting season. The facilities were plentiful and offered options for all weather conditions. We loved exploring the local bushland and spent many hours on the tennis court and in the communal recreation area.

Stunning area - accommodation very average

Make sure you confirm how many bedrooms you are getting as I assumed we got the 7 as advertised but the owner decides if you need 7 or not - we only got 6 for 9 nonrelated adults - very cozy and half of those beds didn't have sheets on them whole place needs maintenance and updated as very old as I said great area - we still have a fabulous weekend.

Fabulous and well equiped house

We had a fantastic family get together with grandparents, children and grandchildren. 21 of us in total. We cooked together in the excellent kitchen, played pool, went in the spa, played tennis and ping pong and went for lively bush walks that were suitable for all ages. This is a fabulous spot on a mountain top. Beautiful views from the main area of the house and all the balconies and lots of the bedrooms. Sooo wonderful to have ensuites in almost every room. This is a brilliant house for so many people. I highly recommend it for a large group!!The big tables were big enough for us all to eat together. The big open plan lounge, dining kitchen area is fabulous for all being in the one space and keeping an eye on children. The setting is very private but with the great ability to use the resort facilities of ping pong and outdoor swimming pool and tennis court. What a great house. I would recommend it to anyone!!! Thanks Denis and family God bless

The host was a pleasure to deal with and arranging our stay was frictionless. Their house was well presented and tidy with a great wood fire that kept us all warm, in a nice area with communal facilities within walking distance.

Jamevin lodge was amazing!

Excellent place for entertaining large groups! Luckily we didn't hire a bus because it won't make it up to the property, but cars will make it easily. Enjoyed seeing the local wildlife and the views are amazing. Can definitely recommend for anyone wanting a group Holliday house!

Relaxing wilderness retreat

Denis’ property is amazing. We went with a group of friends and it was one of the most relaxing holidays we have had. The house has beautiful views, lots of wildlife and beautiful walks. The nearby lagoon and shared pool were also great. Denis is also a lovely host, very accomodating and easy to communicate with.

Friends who are family - enjoy a winters getaway

I highly recommend this home for a getaway that you will be talking about for years to come. We had a wonderful time staying at this magical spot, it had so much to offer and kept everyone happy and entertained! We were a group of 24! 5 Families with kids ranging from 0-11. The house was spacious and each family had their own space for their own downtime. The kids loved the wildlife and the sporting equipment,of but course the Hot Tub was a clear winner of fun. They also enjoyed the bush walking and exploring the common areas being the tennis court , play equipment and the pool - even though ice cold we still had some brave entrants they were calling it their ice bath challenge! Denis was hands down the most amazing host - Fantastic in communication ,prompt with responses and extremely understanding with how delicate organising 5 families can be with their wants and needs. We can’t wait to stay again. Thank you Denis for everything

Nice Private and close to wildlife

Our stay was a boys retreat for weekend for 13 and it fit all of us comfortably. It's cozy enough but fits quite a lot of people. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Denis was very helpful and thorough. The property is bit remote so we were given all the instructions beforehand. Checkin process was good. Property is bit dated but was clean and 'fresh' when we got there. If you like wild life you will see right in the front yard.
