Stylish Uzes Centre Apartment with a Large Terrace

Le Sigalon is a recently restored 70m2 apartment plus a second sleeping area on an 11m2 mezzanine with a 25m2 terrace in the historic town centre of Uzes. It is ideally suited to a couple wanting a luxury apartment with a great kitchen, terrace & living area in a perfect location, or alternatively a family of 4.

The renovation has been completed to a very high standard, respecting the character of the 18th century building and retaining original beams and stonework whilst adding a modern touch in the interior décor and level of comfort.

The first floor is a large living room with open plan kitchen and dining area for 4. Behind the kitchen is a large bathroom. At the back of the room, the wooden staircase leads to the loft style master bedroom which looks out on to a large, sunny terrace. On the mezzanine there are 2 single beds suitable for children only as the ceiling height is low.

Superb location

It was a great place to stay , a couple of things to note, it was disappointing that we couldn’t use the terrace as the umbrella was broken. Also there was no cork screw when all French wine has a cork. The only other thing was it would be useful to have some information about how things work & what to do with garbage etc. otherwise the apartment was very comfortable. Thanks

A stunning appartment in the old town of Uzès

A small staircase in a medieval house leads to a modern and well equiped two-and-a-half storey appartment right in the center of Uzès. Everything you ever want to do or see in Uzès is a few minutes by feet away. We recommend the market on saturdays. Stephanie, the landlord, is very kind. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Uzès é uma cidade maravilhosa, as pessoas são muito simpáticas e o apartamento é bem localizado.

O apartamento é amplo, silencioso e agradável. A cozinha é muito bem equipada e o quarto é confortável. Entretanto, falta manutenção tanto do prédio quanto do imóvel. Existem algumas lâmpadas queimadas, quando chegamos a TV não funcionava e havia vazamento de chuva no mezanino por problemas no telhado.

Sympa, propre et très bien situé

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l‘appartement meublé et décoré avec goût, sa terrasse ainsi que sa proximité aux commerces, au marché et aux restaurants. Il y a même un cinéma à deux pas! En effet, monter l‘escalier à vis très étroit demande un petit effort, surtout avec les bagages… Uzès va le détour et est un lieu idéal pour découvrir la région: Avignon, Nîmes, les Gorges de l‘Ardèche, etc. Juste un petit bémol: nous aurions souhaité un accueil personnel ainsi qu‘une fiche avec la clé / mot de passe wifi et des numéros d´urgences.

Un petit coin de paradis à Uzès

Dans la jolie rue Sigalon, montez les marches d'une tour qui sent merveilleusement bon le pain et les croissants ( le fournil du boulanger est au rdv 🤗). Poussez la porte et découvrez un lieu beau, confortable et parfaitement équipé. Les escaliers vous mèneront à une grande chambre lumineuse et sa mezzanine, ainsi qu'à une terrasse très spacieuse où il fait bon prendre le petit déjeuner, bronzer et profiter de la douceur de la soirée. Alice a toujours était disponible avec sourire et solutions. J'ai adoré séjourner ici ❤️

Best Vacation Ever!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time in Uzes. This property was literally steps from the main street! it could not have been more perfectly located! It was clean and the hostess and the property manager were very responsive and available by phone. It had everything we needed for our stay. The stairs up to the apartment took some getting used to but it was managed with the use of the railing, and I am 70 years old! Would definitely recommend this property as a perfect place from which to explore Uzes and the surrounding countryside!

Perched just above and so close to everything

Loved the location steps away from market and restaurants and short walk to major sights. Big spacious kitchen but had trouble figuring out the induction stovetop. Also pretty loud squeaky stairs.

Central Uzes Apartment

This is our 5th time to this area and the third time that we have stayed in central Uzes. This is an apartment that is quite central to the bustling town of Uzes, with bakers and restraunts all close by. The apartment is on the second floor and the steps are quite steep and old, but manageable. The apartment is well situated and well maintained with adequate facilities. The terrace is a welcome addition. The flat downstairs was quite noisy

Wir wurden vor und während des Aufenthalts sehr gut informiert und betreut. Der defekte Geschirrspüler wurde sogleich nach unserer Meldung repariert. Tolle Terrasse und Lage. Im Schlafzimmer wird es sehr warm; Ventilatoren stehen aber z.Verfügung. Sehr empfehlenswert!
