Vind je ideale hotel in Upper Hell's Gate

"The view from te hotel is beautiful and the hotel grounds have an Italian feeling to it. The room we had was very spacious, like a small house but without a kitchen. Down site of the hotel is that it's worn down, furniture is old and our room/ bed was dirty. The hotel had a low occupation while we were there, i think we were the only guests. So the facilities like the bar or restaurant are not open. The hotel is isolated so you need a taxi or car to go anywhere. Taxis won't run to the hotel after 8 pm, making dining out difficult. When we arrived at the hotel they didn't expect us. Since we were travelling all day, we were hungry. There were no dining options at the hotel. The hotel gave us a ride to town to have dinner and said the restaurant was able to arrange a taxi back to the hotel. After dinner we found oufounat taxis don't go all the way to this hotel after 8 pm and it was a hassle to get back. When we went to bed the bed cover and sheets were covered with little black things and the fitting sheet had yellow stains. In the morning we had a modest but nice breakfast. The pool was not clear/ dirty and there were no towels or cushions on beds or seats. The bar and restaurant were closed and the hotel staff was out, as they were at night. Taxis are hard to get at this isolated area. The staff was friendly and helpful, but the hotel is not clean and in bad condition. We left after the first night to a different hotel. The online pictures of the rooms don't match reality"
