'We visited the area to meet up with family. The price we paid on Expedia was great and not dissimilar to that for Premier Inn/Travelodge, which we would normally have used. I would say that the hotel previously was 4-star, but I wouldn't say it was 4-star today. The room was clean and staff welcoming. Parts of look like it needed attention. But there was some scaffolding up and the restaurant was closed for refurbishment, so they're possibly making some improvements.
Only one of the two lifts...

'Lovely apartment, could do with being a little clearer about where to check in prior to the visit but the staff were helpful. Got charged an extra Ā£50 on arrival which I thought was a security deposit but has actually been taken from my account with no explanation '

'Lovely room with an amazing view. Facilities were great, and there were lots of lovely little touches, such as the dressing gowns. Also I had asked if there would be any oat/soya milk available as I have an intolerance, when we arrived there was not only oat milk but gluten and dairy free cereals, biscuits and yoghurt. Very appreciated
Only drawback was the lack of parking, it's a shame that something can't be worked out with the council to get a reduced rate. Would recommend this place, and we...
