'Fantastic stay at La Basilica Quito. Great location with good security, very friendly owners and staff. English spoken. Very clean and nice rooms, comfortable beds and bathroom with all amenities. Some of the rooms are located in-house, which makes them a bit stuffy due to lack of ventilation, but this is minor. Right in the hart of Old Quito at 5 minutes walk from historic square with cathedral, museums, presidential palace, and also the National Basilica. '

'Very nice and friendly. Both Herna and Blanca were great. Definitely recommend.'

'Great hotel with atmospheric rooms, friendly staff, tasty breakfast and a good location. Free water, coffee and tea throughout the day was appreciated as well.'

'Beautiful historic building in an excellent location. Staff was the highlight of my trip. All of them were the most friendly and helpful staff I have encountered at a hotel.'

'Michelle was great and everything at the hotel went well. The complimentary breakfast is very good and much better than a typical hotel breakfast. Hotel is very safe as well.'

'Terraza hermosa. Tranquilo.'

'Great staff and lovely decorations. It could have a few more bathroom amenities but lots of free water was nice. Good location.'

'Amazing place! Feels like coming home. Perfect communication before and during the stay, including airport pick up and drop off. Freddy and Diego both speak English fluently and go out of their way to make your stay 100% comfortable, safe, and enjoyable.'

'Prima en mooi hotel met uitgebreid heerlijk ontbijt. Restaurant met prima prijzen. Kamer perfect'

'We had a three-night stay, and it was fantastic. The owners were absolutely lovely, and the breakfast was perfect before a long day of exploring. They even took care of our laundry and had it laundered while we were out touring. Highly recommended for the price and location!'

'Spectacular view over the city. Beautiful building with character. Splendid service from reception. One does need transport to go to the center.'
