The perfect cottage in Union Pier. Incredible location. Cross the street and walk 1 short block to the best beach in the area. Brand new washer dryer and beautiful new stone kitchen countertops as well as a stunning brand new dining/kitchen buffet. Our home is peaceful and comfortable with plenty of room for everyone. Large wrap around fenced-in yard with lush gardens, hammock, fire pit, and new Weber gas grill. Large comfortable screened in porch . Our sun filled kitchen is the heart of the home, with ample space for cooking and hanging out before dinner. We've got everything you need for your carefree beach vacation - including beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, beach toys, and even a wagon for carrying it all down to the best beach.

-Mud room with washer and dryer
-Enclosed back porch, with lounging area, overlooking back gardens
-Full Bath with tub/shower combo
-Kitchen with new stainless steel appliances, including dishwasher, disposal, faucet and refrigerator, new quartz countertops, and a farmhouse sink
-Large dining area off kitchen. Brand new breakfront piece with all dining room needs in organized drawers. Extra long dining table that seats 10 people easily.
-Family room with big cozy couch around a gas fire place, with a flat screen TV
-Master bedroom with plenty of closet space.
-Enclosed large front porch overlooking front gardens (*with twin trundle bed)

-Open sleeping area with two trundle beds and a flatscreen cable TV
-Large second bedroom with one queen bed

Everything you need right here. And close to the beach!

We have stayed in several houses in Union Pier and this is our second summer here. In fact this year ewe stayed two weeks we liked it so much. We love that it is such a short walk to the beach. And the beach isn't crowded being that it is hard to park near the entrance. The owners provide a wagon to bring the chairs, towels, etc down which is a big help. The house itself has everything you need especially in the kitchen. We like to cook at home and everything we needed was there. Beds are all very comfortable (not always the case at rentals) and plenty of bedding, towels etc. We didn't use the firepit as it was pretty hot out but wood is also provided. You can tell the owners take pride in their house and no detail has been missed. A great place for our family to relax and unwind. We will be back again next year.

Family Beach Vacation

Beautiful, clean and comfortable accommodations for our family including our little one (18 mod). Perfect distance to the beach. Lake is accessible on a whim but also able to retreat to the cottage for some A/C and quiet time. The garden and surrounding town add to the relaxing ambience without sacrificing some creature comforts. We hope to return.

Our best stay in Union Pier

We take a ladies trip every year to Union Pier and have stayed in multiple houses. This one is our favorite.It’s a very cozy cottage, but it slept all 10 of us comfortably. The beach chairs were new and the wagon provided was super helpful. The location is a very short walk to the beach. Excellent location. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and all of the dishes and silver were top end. Lots of extras and super comfortable beds and pillows!

Perfect spot. Perfect location.

Perfect beach cottage. Super close to the beach and "downtown" Union Pier and very well equipped for an easy stay - everything you need in a kitchen to feed the lot plus beach chairs, towels, and umbrellas, etc for hanging out. Best part is there are sooo many windows allowing you to open up the house and take advantage of the cool SW Michigan nights after a hot day at the beach.

Fantastic Beach Home!

We were are family of 5 adults. Plenty of room, super cute, better than the photos.Fully stocked kitchen, everything you would need. Loved the backyard with the fire pit. The location was amazing ,close to the beach, local store and coffee shop. Susan & Victor are incredible hosts!

The Pefect Stay

We have rented several houses in Union Pier and this is by far the best one. Everything was top notch. We love to cook at home and the kitchen has everything you need and then some. And a Weber grill! Plus a large table to dine at if you have a bigger group. Also, towels, bedding etc great quality. I have stayed at many places where that was not the case. Great fire pit area in the yard where we sat at night several times. When the owners say a quick walk to the beach they mean it. I wouuld say about 5 minutes. I never really timed it due to how close it was. The beach was great and owners provided Tommy Bahama chairs and plenty of beach towels. Communication was great as I spoke with Susan serveral times. Will definitely be back. Thanks for a great week for our family.

Great family house for playing at the beach!

We enjoyed four nights with my husband and four children ages 8, 6, 4, and 2 and my mother and father in law. We slept comfortably and loved the spacious and well supplied kitchen and large dining table. We easily walked to the beach multiple times a day to play in the sand and water. The front and back porches were great additional spaces for spreading out. Everything was very clean and well organized!

Awesome house for family beach getaway!

We loved this house! It was a great location - about a 5 minute walk to the beach and also a short walk to the Black Currant Bakehouse for morning coffee. The house is so well designed and comfortable. We loved sitting in the backyard by the fire pit and on the hammock. The grill is great. The beds were comfortable and the bedding great! The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed! We were 7 and fit comfortably in the house. We had everything we needed including beach chairs and towels and a wagon to get it all to the beach. We highly recommend it and can’t wait to come back!

Three Gems Cottage is a gem

A very comfortable cottage, well decorated and stocked with everything you need in the kitchen and throughout the house. The gardens surrounding the cottage were absolutely lovely at the beginning of August. Very short walk to great beach - soft sand and lovely vistas. The only caveat in the house might be that the stairs to go to the second floor are old and very shallow so anyone that is a bit unsteady may find them a challenge. As for the beach, the public area is fine, but it is bordered on both sides by prominent signs that read "Private Beach!" I don't think I have ever seen that posting before. We were a family of four adults and one four year old child and there was enough to do in the surrounding area. If you need a day trip, St. Joseph has a wonderful carousel and lots of shops and restaurants. p.s. the bakery in Union Pier is amazing and the hosts give a lot of restaurant information in a packet in the house.

Absolutely Wonderful!

Amazing location and property. The place had ample beds for kids, and the trundle setup on the top floor is excellent. Between beach chairs, wagon, and sand toys - we truly didn’t want for much during our stay! Highly recommend and can’t wait to return!
