« Personnel vraiment très accueillant. Chambre de belles dimensions pour le prix avec petit dej énorme inclus et parking gratuit. Grande salle de bains (toilettes dans la sdb). Lits un peu mous mais ça va. Très belle terrasse sur le lac. En revanche le resto est cher et la brasserie bruyante. Il vaut mieux diner dehors.

« Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing overall.
Although the room had an air conditioning unit, it was not working. A fan was provided instead, but it was extremely dusty. As we were travelling with our 11-month-old daughter, we did not feel it was safe to use due to the amount of dust. Thankfully, the windows could be opened slightly, which helped.
The room was also in need of better maintenance. There were water stains covering several walls, suggesting there had previously been a leak that...

« We have enjoyed a fantastic 2 night stay, the location was spot on only 2 minutes to Lake Windermere and the ferry landing point.
Colin is the perfect host, very attentive, knowledgeable of the area and looked after us well.
Breakfast was a lovely; full English in a cosy setting.
The room was fine with all amenities. It was our birthdays whilst there and Colin decorated the room, these touches are most appreciated.
Definitely recommend 10/10 »

« A lovely place to stay . The hot tub was amazing the water was lovely and hot . It was very clean , we had everything we needed . The farm dogs were lovely they come to greet us when we got there . The owners are very friendly . The location is stunning , it’s surrounded by fields and there are donkeys , cows nearby which made it really nice . Would highly recommend staying there . Thanks for making it a lovely stay for us . »

« We had a lovely few days in this quaint cottage. There is everything you need and very close to the village pub, where they let us park our car, as not really ideal outside the cottage. Will definitely return if we go back to the Lake Distruct. »
