The Residence Mare Azzurro is a complex of 9 apartments located in Torre San Giovanni - Marina di Ugento, one of the most popular tourist destinations on the Ionian coast of Salento.
The apartments are located on the Gallipoli–Leuca coastal road heading toward Gallipoli, facing the rocky coastline, just 150 meters from the small sandy beach on Isola di Pazze and a 5-minute drive from the sandy beaches of Torre San Giovanni, which stretch for about 8 km. The sandy beaches of Torre San Giovanni can be reached via a shuttle bus provided for guests, which takes them to the affiliated beach resorts.
The beaches of Torre San Giovanni stretch all the way to Lido Marini and offer a variety of services and attractions, such as beach clubs, public beaches, restaurants, bars, boat tours, and scuba diving. The beach is ideal for families with children, thanks to its shallow and safe waters, but also for those seeking fun and nightlife.
The apartments at Residence Mare Azzurro are approximately 60 square meters in size: they consist of a spacious and comfortable entryway/living room with a single sofa bed; a kitchenette; a bathroom with a shower; and two bedrooms that can accommodate 4 people.
They are equipped with air conditioning, Wi-Fi, bicycles, a barbecue, a shared washing machine, a lounge area, and a garden table.
All ground-floor apartments feature a very spacious outdoor area, complete with an outdoor shower, where you can relax and enjoy your time. The first-floor apartments, with their livable balconies, offer a wonderful view of the sea and its endless horizon.
The apartments at Residence Mare Azzurro have a dedicated, enclosed, and private parking area.
A highlight of the Residence is the beachfront area, which will be dedicated to children’s play and relaxation for adults.

Guest access
Each apartment has a separate entrance with its own private outdoor space. The shared areas include the seaside relaxation area and the parking lot.

Overview of the neighborhood
The Mare Azzurro Residence is located in the Mareverde area, known for its uniquely colored sea. The area is perfect for relaxation and fun, thanks to its prime seaside location. Just a few hundred meters away, you’ll find a supermarket, a tobacco shop, a pizzeria/restaurant, and a bar. The rocky coastline offers a unique beauty and a world of colors. Unfortunately, while it isn’t appreciated by most, it represents an inexhaustible source of recreation and a chance to experience the sea for connoisseurs. You can spot various species of fish, octopuses, moray eels, sea urchins, and mollusks in general, allowing both those who want to go snorkeling and those who simply want to take a swim to fully experience the sea.

Torre San Giovanni, along with Gallipoli, is a truly charming destination thanks to its beaches and nature parks. The town offers a variety of recreational options for both families and groups of young people who want to get around the town easily or reach the main tourist destinations in Salento.

How to Get Around
Just a short walk from the apartment is the Salentoinbus bus stop, which provides service to and from Gallipoli and Lecce, as well as allowing guests to visit Salento’s main tourist destinations. Guests arriving in Salento by train or plane can take advantage of the car and motorcycle rental service. They can also use my shuttle service to reach their destination and return to the Lecce train station or Brindisi Airport.
You can also use the bicycles provided free of charge.

How to Get There
You can reach the Residence Mare Azzurro via the Salentoinbus bus lines, whose stops are just a few meters from the apartment and provide service to and from Gallipoli and Lecce. For guests wishing to travel to the Salento region by train or plane, car and motorcycle rental services are available. You can also use my shuttle service to reach the villas and return to the Lecce train station or Brindisi Airport.
If you’re arriving by car, head to Lecce and continue on the Tangenziale Ovest toward Leuca along State Highways 274 and 101 (SS.SS.), pass Gallipoli, take the Felline exit, and you’ll arrive in Torre San Giovanni.
