'Staying here feels like stepping back in time, as everything in the castle is beautifully authentic. Our room was massive, almost like a suite, and the beds were very comfortable. The surroundings and scenery are beautiful. We also had dinner at the restaurant, and the meal was perfect and of high quality, just like the breakfast. We did not experience any downsides during our stay.'

'This was our very favorite stay of our entire Scotland trip. Helen and Tim have created something really special at Gulabin Lodge. We loved the proximity to hiking and the amazing facilities. It was such a good experience that we will be booking here again the next time we visit.'

'Very clean rooms, furnishing is tasteful and well considered. A warm welcome and great chance to swap traveller recommendations with fellow walkers/visitors. Extremely well managed and intuitive to use. Love the boot room, clean public spaces and ‘please use’ shelf in the fridge!'

'Greeted at the door by site manager and given a tour of the facilities. We had the private ensuite room and was everying we needed. The shared kitchen had all the kitchen stuffs you would require. The house in down a long drive that's very bumpy so don't bring your sports car. Unfortunately the weather was not good so we will have to be back to explore the area again some time soon'

'Lovely room on beautifull farm. Friendly welcome and good breakfast.'

'The facility was lovely, the staff, friendly and professional. Our room was just right. It was all very pleasant and we would certainly stay here again.'

'Merveilleux'

'Our second stay in this beautiful and very comfortable hotel, exceptionally well hosted by Karen (such good breakfasts) and Graham (whose knowledge of where to go and what to do was amazing). Thanks for your care and attention! We will be back at any opportunity!'
