Explore the area around Ljørdalen and make the most of its proximity to the vast natural landscapes of Eastern Norway. Take a short detour to the village centre, hire a canoe and paddle down the River Ljøra. Go for walks in Fulufjellet National Park with its marked trails and viewpoints. Visit the famous Njupeskär waterfall, which is just a short drive away. In summer, make the most of the many fishing opportunities in rivers and lakes, and in winter, enjoy the groomed cross-country ski trails.
