This home-away-from-home features a private hot tub, indoor fireplace, updated kitchen, and more! Short drive to Northstar and Palisades Tahoe! Enjoy ample parking for 2-3 cars and a 5-minute walk to West End Beach at Donner Lake and the Pub. Whether you're seeking a winter family getaway or a group of friends ready to hit the slopes, our home is ready to make your stay unforgettable.

We respect our guests' privacy and aim to provide a seamless, independent stay. We will not be present on the property during your visit but are readily available via the messaging app should you need any assistance or local recommendations. We will provide you with a printed house manual and digital guidebook to help answer any questions that may come up. Our team is available 8am - 9pm PT.

The home is located in a quiet lake community, only a five minute walk to Donner Lake. You will often see neighbors walking around and enjoying the peaceful area, and we look forward to welcoming you into this warm and inviting community during your stay.

Guests will have access to the entire home with the exception of a few locked spaces.

A Message From The Owners: We are close to the west end beaches, in the flat west end neighborhood which is great for kids (bike riding, playing, scootering etc.). A quick drive to downtown Truckee, much closer to the bay area vs driving to Lake Tahoe. It took us 5 years of looking at real estate at Donner Lake for us to find our forever family cabin. We plan to keep this home in our family for many generations.

Perfectly located for access to world-class ski resorts and nearby towns!

- 10 min to Downtown Truckee

Lyft, Uber, and Taxis operate in the greater Truckee area.

To ensure a transparent and wonderful stay, please review these important details:
- Hot Tub Cleanings: We schedule hot tub cleanings ahead of all guest arrivals. In the event the hot tub is serviced on they day of your arrival, the spa may still be heating up do to a recent cleaning. If you notice the spa is not hot when you get to the house, please notify us so we can check with the company to confirm this is expected.
- No Air Conditioning: Like most homes in Tahoe, our cabin does not have AC.
- Mountain Life: Dust and pollen can accumulate quickly on outdoor furniture. The BBQ and other outdoor furniture may be stored and unavailable during winter (typically October-May).
- Weather & Travel: A 4WD/AWD vehicle, chains, or snow tires may be required in winter.
- Uncontrollable Events: We are not responsible for uncontrollable circumstances such as poor air quality during wildfire season or snow during winter. We strongly recommend purchasing external trip insurance, as our cancellation policy will be upheld.
- Safety: The home is equipped with smoke alarms, carbon monoxide alarms, and a first aid kit for your safety.
