ISOLATED Luxury Villa With Private Pool and Sea View ,Perfect for Small Weddings

Villa Drage was built on a fenced property of 16,000 square meters. It's located on the slopes of Kozjak near the town of Trogir. Fantastic panoramic view of Kastela Bay and Split will leave you breathless. You will enjoy in peaceful atmosphere among 400 olive and almond trees. Villa has very peaceful surroundings, with only one other house in 1km range. That means that in few minutes drive you can get to many beaches, bars, restaurants and shops but still have total privacy, peace and quiet once you get back to the villa. It was built in cascade and extends over 3 levels. The first level has a kitchen, dining room, living room area connected with the study / library area on the gallery, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The second level comprises a bedroom with a bathroom, an apartment with a living area, one bedroom, bathroom and a mezzanine bedroom on the third level. All rooms have access to the loggia / terrace / balcony area with garden furniture.

Everything you could want

Five of us stayed here for 4 nights. We wish we could have stayed longer. We cooked outside one night, we admired the history and beauty of the villa's decorations, the bedrooms/bathrooms were all immaculate and spacious. We spent many hours just sitting outside admiring the views. Wonderful place! Easy to get to Split and Plitvice park.

Spectacular villa with Adriatic Sea View

We are two families who stayed 5 nights at this incredible property surrounded by olive trees with a beautiful view of the Adriatic. The owners gave us a wonderful welcome with delicious appetizers, their award winning olive oil (we bought three bottles to take home) and home made grappa liquor. Our kids enjoyed the pool, we loved the fully equipped outdoor kitchen and grill and the proximity to Trogir and numerous supermarkets. We would stay here again if we come back. Highly recommend the property and the hosts.

Lovely pool and spectacular view!

We are a group of five work colleagues who all work from home and we stayed in the house for 4 nights to both meet face to face and enjoy some social time together. It was very easy with e-mail communication prior to our arrival, we dealt with the owners' son and he answered and helped us with all our questions and requests. One of our group had a birthday while we were at the house and the owners wife made a lovely birthday cake. The house itself had everything that we needed. We didn't use the kitchen much as breakfast was provided (for an additional and reasonable cost) and we ate out in the evenings in Trogir. The house was easy to get to by taxi from the airport and back and forth from Trogir. We enjoyed the pool area very much and want to extend a big thank you to the owners for making our stay so enjoyable.

Tolles Haus

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in Villa Drage. Das Haus bietet alle Annehmlichkeiten, die man sich nur wünschen kann. Auch die Lage des Hauses bietet einen schönen Blick auf Split und das Meer. Mit dem Auto ist man in 5 min an allen wichtigen Geschäften, neben dem hauseigenen Pool zum Baden gibt es am Meer genügend ansprechende Strände unweit von Plano. Für Tagesausflüge bieten sich genügend Möglichkeiten in der näheren Umgebung an, wie z.B. der Nationalpark Krka, die Städte Split, Trogir und Sibenek. Die Familie des Gastgebers ist äußerst nett und hilfsbereit. In unserer Familie hatten wir 3 Kleinkinder dabei, die sich alle sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Wir können die Unterkunft wirklich guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen.

Secluded- Views of the sea, train and city

The homeowner lives on the property and welcomed us with a delicious cake, charcuterie, wine, and a bottle of their delicious olive oil. The home is comfortable, small kitchen for the size of the home, but it has a well-equipped outdoor kitchen. The air conditioning was a must and worked well. When we were home, we spent most of our time by the pool and eating outside. The beds and bedding were all clean and comfortable. Make sure to pack different forms of mosquito repellent and an outdoor speaker. You must have a car to stay at this location and dont forget, €500 cash for a deposit. If the weather is not hot, you can use the pool house for napping. It's very cute but has no AC or bathroom. Thank you, for sharing your property with us!

Family Vacation

Had a fabulous week with my sons and grandchildren. My older son lives in Germany, myself and other son are in the United States. We had a much needed family vacation in this beautiful Villa. The kids loved the pool, the adults loved the views and convenient location. We all enjoyed touring Split, Trogir and the areas beautiful beaches. Our hosts were welcoming and available as needed. The outdoor space was perfect for relaxed family dinners at the stone grill, complete with outdoor plates, cookware and dishwasher. Loved our time in Croatia at the beautiful villa.

The perfect holiday villa stay

We are doing a 1 week friends trip every year in this region and this year, we were 12 people (all around 30years of age) to enjoy life in a private villa. We were hosted by Mladen and his wife. In advance I clarified all the questions with his son, Arsen, so we were totally prepared for a good stay. But when we arrived, we were totally blown away by the beauty and possibilities of this amazing villa and ground. Mladen and his wife have prepared so many little gifts for us, that we felt at home from the very first second on. They lived also on the ground, but were very careful in letting us be on our own - so we at the same time felt very private, but cared. The organized everything, what we needed and we could call them any time fit help. I never experienced such a great service! Besides that, the house and area offers so many possibilities! The pool is amazing, the big tree offers shadow the whole day while being an amazing eye catcher. The outdoor kitchen and pool house have hosted some little parties in the night and the rest of the outside area was just beautiful. The house itself offers so many rooms and beds, it perfectly fitted for the 12 people of us. Many bathrooms, whirlpool and other things like a beautiful look from the top room make it perfect. Besides this, the house has a unique character as there are many personal things like a library, jazz corner and other things that Mladen showed us that give the house a personal incredibly unique character. We all can only recommend this amazing villa, might for a family stay or a group of friends or other occasions, it is just gorgeous! Thanks to the whole family for hosting us, we will definitely come back!!

Fabulous Stay!

We had a fantastic time at Villa Drage, the house and location are great and the hosts are very welcoming., easy to communicate and very responsive. We were greeted with platters of local cheese and prosciutto and home made cake, their own olive oil is delicious we brought 8 bottles home…There is lots of space indoors and outdoors to gather together or to have some quiet time. The house has everything you need and a fully equipped outdoor kitchen as well. The location is great, we made trips to Split, Trogir, Krka waterfalls and Sibenika and did rafting at the Cetina river. Thank you to Arsen, Mladjen, and Odana for a wonderful stay!

Spectacular!

We stayed at Villa Drage for our wedding week and it was fantastic all around! The villa was spotless when we arrived, and the house has so much detail and character in every room. Mladen and Odjana were incredible hosts from the moment we arrived, and treated us like family until we sadly had to leave. They made us wonderful food and cake when we arrived, and also gave us a nice bottle of wine, a bottle of their fantastic olive oil, and then we toasted to several shots of their delicious homemade liqours. After that we did not see them unless we chose to visit them and their lovely pets. Between the breath taking views of the Mediterranean and the city of Split, the amazing salt water pool, and the endless amenities the house had to offer, we could not have imagined a better place to stay and entertain numerous guests for the entire week. We would highly recommend staying at Villa Drage to anyone looking to have one of the most memorable vacations of their lives. We will definitely stay here again in the future. Živjeli!!

I would give it 6 stars if I could!

We had the most fabulous week at Villa Drage. Malden and his wife were the best hosts imaginable! There were 9 of us, from 11 to 72, and the house was perfect. The setting is so lovely that we sometimes had to push ourselves to get out and see the sites. You do need a car, but everything you need or want is a short drive away. We are already planning our next trip back to Croatia and we woykdnt stay anywhere else.

so freundliche und herzliche "Nachbarschaft"

mein dreiwöchiger Aufenthalt mit meinen zwei Mitbewohnern (Emil Dogo-Argentino und Paula Dackel) war wunderbar.. wir versuchen nächstes Jahr wieder zukommen um uns dort zu erholen und zu entspannen :) Alle Eigentümer - Ojdana, die tolle und soooo liebe Besitzerin, Mladen, der freundliche und immer hilfsbereite Besitzer, Beppo der Kater und eigentliche Owner und Una, die super freundliche Hundedame - waren die Besten! Ob Unterstützer, Nachbarn oder Kommunikationspartner. Die Aussicht ist ein gigantisch und die Umgebung ist wunderschön zum bewandern.

Exceptionell villa and wonderful host family

We spent a week in june with a family of 10. Its exactly the same as in the pictures and the experience is like previous reviews. We enjoyed the whole week and Mladen with his wife made the week even better. Villa Drage is highly recommendable and hopefully we can go back to this beautiful area and Villa Drage once again. Amazing Villa with amazing hosts!!!

When I first made the reservation, I was VERY nervous transferring such a large amount of money directly to the homeowners bank account. You hear horror stories all the time about scams like that BUT THIS WAS NOT THE CASE! I am so happy I went through with the booking. The reviews on HomeAway and the many other websites (google "Villadrage") are all legit. During the booking process, Arsen was always quick to reply to messages and made booking the home a breeze. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the Hosts who prepared a small meal for us as well as welcome drinks! They showed us around the beautiful home and were great the entire trip. I've never had hosts that were more welcoming than they were. The home is furnished well and they have everything you could need. If you do find yourself needing anything, the grocery store is very close by. The airport is less than 10 minutes away and the town of Trogir is also really close by. Split was a little further but the drive isn't bad at all. The pool, home and yard were very clean. it made for a very comfortable stay. It was a very relaxing trip and I'm very grateful to Arsen and his family for letting us stay at their beautiful Villa. We even purchased some of their award winning olive oil!

We had an awesome time

We couldn't imagine a better place for our holiday. The villa was great and we didn't miss anything. The location is away from the city and offers plenty of privacy. Nevertheless the way to shopping, Trogir and Split is very short. The communication with family Krnic before the stay was very kind and when we arrived we were welcomed with some dalmatian specialties and a bottle of their own olive oil from the grove around the house. Also we could ask them for recommendations and everything else we needed. All the rooms, baths and the pool were in excellent condition. In addition to the kitchen there is a second outdoor kitchen next to the barbeque, so you have 2 dishwashers and stoves… we really enjoyed our stay! We also want to say thank you to family krnic and we hope that we were not too loud. We will come back for sure and recommend this place to anyone who is searching for a holiday home.
