When we arrived, the parking lot was nearly empty. We learned only 3 of the Inn's 32 rooms were occupied Friday night. Due to issues with the Inn's website, I had to book through Expedia and was assigned a woods-facing room. Given how empty the property was, I asked about moving to a lake-view room. Although many were available, I was charged an additional $75 per night plus...

'I went as a solo traveller in fall on a work trip. I was upgraded to a room with a porch and a view. The staff were excellent. I had dinner one night in the restaurant and the food and service was very good. My room was very comfortable. I would like to go back in season and stay in a cottage.'

'The resort is lovely. The luxury suite garden view (Somer Suite) was very comfortable and the jacuzzi bath is nice and big and very relaxing. The only downside was that the room is over the restaurant and smelled like fried food all night and like bacon in the morning.
The lake is gorgeous. The kayaks and canoes were no longer available due to the season.
Overall, a nice spot.'
