Hôtel près de Tree Line Park (York)

« Très bel établissement dans la campagne du Yorkshire où on peu profiter du grand calme. Les lieux ont fait l'objet d'une rénovation mêlant agréablement la modernité avec une vieille bâtisse. Le staff est amical et aux soins anticipant même les demandes. Les chambres sont impeccables et permettent de se sentir dans un cocon moderne. L'hôtel possède sont propre centre de remise en forme avec salle de sport, piscine, jacuzzi et sauna. Même s'il peut paraître vieillot, une nouvelle construction...

« We had a very nice overnight stay at the Crown. Staff were kind & welcoming on arrival, the room was clean and comfortable and well appointed, we had dinner in the restaurant which was really nice, drinks were a big pricey but I guess that's hotel pricing. Breakfast was really good, freshly prepared and very tasty. All in all really good, the only minor negative was the dated bathroom in our room, however the shower was really good, powerful and plenty of hot water so, does that really matter? »

« Perfect spot to visit York and surroundings. Place is useful. Parking plenty of EV pods. A shopping centre close to the hotel allows all food breaks. »

« Robert greeted us at the door and was friendly. The room we were shown to was perfect, bed was comfortable and amenities clean and tidy. The location of Kirkgate House was great, in the middle of the town with bars and restaurants within a couple minutes walk. Would recommend and if we visit Knaresborough again, definitely would stay. »

« We stayed in the Bootham suite, the room was light and airy and had a lovely small balcony to enjoy the sunshine. The four poster bed was very comfy and there was a small seating area to relax in. Breakfast was very good, everything is a la carte and the staff were very attentive. The hotel is in a great location, very easy walking distance into York but also very quiet and peaceful. The Pantry is a really nice touch but it was a shame that there wasn't a fridge in the room to keep drinks cool....
