From here, you can set off on scenic hikes, e-bike tours, or adventures in the nearby Val Tartano and Val di Mello — true natural paradises — or visit historic towns like Morbegno, Chiavenna, or Teglio, the birthplace of pizzoccheri. Lake Como is just a 10-minute drive away, or you can bike there along the cycling path that runs through all of Valtellina, surrounded by vineyards and breathtaking views. Don’t miss the Colico Fort or thrilling experiences like the Tibetan bridge in Val Tartano ("Ponte nel cielo").

This home is much more than just an apartment: it’s an authentic retreat, surrounded by greenery, with a secret garden accessed through a small backdoor and reserved for guests. It captures all the charm of living in close contact with nature. Hidden among fruit trees, vegetable gardens, berry bushes, and mountain scents, the garden is a natural terrace overlooking Valtellina. You'll find a relaxing area with a swing and hammock, a poolside area with a gas kitchen and dining table for outdoor meals, a barbecue (with owner assistance upon request), and a rustic pool (6x3 meters) framed by greenery. You can pick fruit straight from the trees, savor fresh vegetables from the garden, and — if you'd like — ask the owners to share fresh eggs, local recipes, or stories about real life in Valtellina. He is an expert local guide, and she is a passionate cook with deep knowledge of local traditions.
The apartment: tradition, comfort, and peace
The accommodation is part of a traditional Valtellinese stone house, located on the first floor. The entrance is on the ground floor, where the owners' apartment is located; to the right, a staircase leads to a private, quiet corridor that opens onto the first floor entirely dedicated to guests.

Here, you’re not a tourist — you’re a guest. The house is cozy and protected, located in a quiet and scenic area, far from mass tourism but close to everything worth experiencing.
The spaces have been designed to ensure maximum comfort: quality mattresses, washing machine, Wi-Fi connection, kitchen with stovetop, microwave, kettle, dishes and utensils. Also included are an iron and ironing board, drying rack, and a reserved parking spot.
Upon arrival, you'll find the home ready with sheets and towels for all guests, plus a welcome kit with oil, salt, pepper, coffee, pods, washing machine capsules, shampoo, shower gel, dish soap, and toilet paper.
The property is managed by Nativoo , a benefit corporation engaged in concrete and measurable sustainability projects.
