1. This is NOT THE FILMORE HOTEL! 2. Despite the negative reviews, this is an outstanding hotel/condo. 3. Yes, the name Filmore hotel is disconcerting, but the reality is you get a great room with amazing amenities: mine was super clean, very comfortable, had a great view and included a washer and dryer! 4. The check in is a bit complicated, but if you read the instructions and follow them you will be in a great room by about 4 pm

I had a great stay at this property. The room looked exactly like the photos on the listing, which was a pleasant surprise since that's not always the case when traveling. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and recently updated. This was my first time checking into a property with a virtual front desk, so I was a little unsure at first. However, the host made the process very easy by sending clear instructions before my arrival and keeping me updated throughout. The place felt very luxurious, comfortable, and well-maintained. I was very satisfied with my stay. Even though there was a little confusion about the property photos, the host clarified that the pictures posted in their listing here on Expedia were accurate and exactly the same as the actual place. This Executive Suite Bestsaycation was the perfect choice for our relaxing getaway. The location was very convenient since we were able to visit nearby attractions like CN Tower and different restaurants around the area. After spending the day exploring Toronto, it was always nice coming back to such a cozy and beautiful suite to relax together. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well-prepared when we arrived. I absolutely loved staying at this suite because it made our special trip even more memorable. The property was not Fillmore’s Hotel, it was not located at 212 Dundas Street as I understood from the listing, and there was no reception or front desk available to provide any assistance. The check-in instructions is collecting the key from a lockbox at a convenience store. I found the building to be old, run down, dirty, and poorly maintained. There were numerous broken items, and the overall condition was far below what I reasonably expected. The condition of the property was so unacceptable that I could not tolerate staying there for a single night. I immediately left because I did not feel comfortable remaining at the property.

Okay, Filimores Hotel does not exist anymore. The actual Filmores Hotel is about to be demolished and replaced. The ex Filimores was known as a night club strip joint with rooms. You get the picture. The'Filimores Hotel' offered at Expedia is a number of condos in a nearby apartment block 251 Jarvis Street. Here there are excellent studio flat s which are well appointed, clean and a great spot from which to venture out and explore Tornto. But as locals advised, head west from the building not east. We would be happy to stay at 251 again, good value and great facilities

My husband and I flew in from Mexico and stayed here for one night. The location was perfect, especially since it was close to UofT, where our daughter was graduating this year. We traveled from Mexico for our first visit to Toronto and had a wonderful stay. The suite was comfortable, clean, and well-maintained. It was the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring the city. Our trip was memorable, and we were very happy that we chose to stay here.
