    The Space:

This sits on a 6-acre private retreat beside Toolangi State Forest in the Yarra Valley. As the closest Healesville accommodation near Yarra Valley, it sits just an hour from Melbourne and near Healesville, Yarra Glen, and Kinglake. This modern tiny home offers a calming nature escape with a cosy loft bedroom and elevated forest views.

Designed with minimalist style and high ceilings, this feels spacious, open, and inviting. Off-Grid, But Make It Comfortable

This is powered by solar and supplied with natural spring water directly from the tap. It is an eco-conscious retreat that still feels luxurious, with heating, cooling, hot showers, a proper kitchen, and 240V power outlets.

Guests simply need to be mindful of energy use, such as avoiding running energy-heavy appliances at the same time (for example, a toaster, a portable heater, and a split system together).

It offers the best of both worlds:

    🌿 Sustainable, low-impact living

    🛏️ Hotel-style comfort in nature

Prefer a ground-floor bedroom and large picture windows? Our sister stay, “Quantum Field,” is located in total privacy just across the property. Same peaceful setting and modern comfort, perfect if you prefer single-level living with forest views from bed.

As an added note, there may be other guests on the property as we also accommodate campers. We'd also like to remind guests that this is a limited solar-powered tiny house, and we highly recommend saving energy for the entire stay.

    Guest Access:

Guests have full access and the surrounding areas. The host’s private residence and shed are located elsewhere on the property and do not impact privacy. Occasionally, campers may be present at a respectful distance.

This accommodation features a mezzanine loft bedroom accessed via steps. For safety reasons, it may not be suitable for guests with mobility issues or young children. Guests accept responsibility for their safety when using the stairs. The host is not liable for any incidents related to stair use.

NOTICE TO ALL: No Need to bring bottled water! Our holiday homes are supplied with fresh mountain water from a natural underground stream. It's safe to drink straight from the tap, and we hope you love it. Feel free to take some with you and help us reduce plastic waste. Thank you!

    Interaction with Guests:

Guests will enjoy your own private space but we are always available for a chat.

    The Neighborhood:

This is nestled in the forested town of Toolangi, just an hour from Melbourne and surrounded by the natural beauty of the Yarra Valley. Along the way, you'll pass charming towns including Healesville, Yarra Glen, Kinglake, and Coldstream, known for their wineries, cafés, and local produce.

Nearby, stop by the popular Blue Vixen Café for freshly roasted coffee and homemade ice cream, or visit Castella Blueberries during the picking season. Nature lovers can explore the iconic Kalatha Giant, Wirrawilla Rainforest Walk, Tanglefoot Loop, and Mount St Leonard Lookout, all within a short drive.

Continue your adventure through the Yarra Valley with cellar door tastings at Domain Chandon, TarraWarra Estate, and Zonzo Estate, or enjoy local dining in Healesville and Yarra Glen. For family-friendly outings, visit Healesville Sanctuary, soar over the valley in a hot air balloon, or ride the historic Puffing Billy Railway before stocking up on essentials in Healesville or Yarra Glen.
