    The Space:

    Just outside the charming village of Three Oaks, this elegant family retreat offers a quiet escape with easy access to Lake Michigan attractions. Newly remodeled and refurnished, this three-bedroom/two-bath boasts multiple living areas and modern amenities including free WiFi, central AC, and a private washer/dryer. Sip coffee or just while the days away in the front porch rockers and for lunch, fire up the private gas grill for a family barbecue on the back deck. The firepit is perfect for happy hour and and evening S'mores. Whether its to start off your day or to cap it off, there's never a bad time for a relaxing soak in the private hot tub. The bright, updated interior is tastefully appointed with contemporary fixtures and appliances with strong natural lighting featured throughout. The main floor living room equipped with a large, flatscreen smart TV opens to an airy dining area with seating for six and beautiful bay windows offering pastoral views of the surrounding farmland. The kitchen is well-equipped for family cooking with updated, stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher for easy cleanup. Specialty items including a pizza stone and a full suite of utensils make the culinary options virtually endless! Two bedrooms share a full bathroom on this floor. Great stay!

We had a 25 year college reunion weekend that was delightful, cozy and welcoming here! Many fun opportunities nearby, but also able to just sit and relax together in the deck or in the living room.

House was incredible and exceeded our expectations! Nice downtown area and a quick drive to downtown New Buffalo and local wineries. Nice hot tub and amenities. Would absolutely stay here again!

Amazing getaway

This house is a great getaway. Very nice, clean, spacious, has all the amenities. A short drive to the beach, boating, great restaurants, and the casino. I would definitely book here again.

Great Weekend Retreat

The house was absolutely perfect, it easily fit 10 adults and was so clean. The backyard, deck and pool made for the perfect weekend retreat.

Really enjoyed our stay

Me, my family, and our dog Grace had an amazing time. Close drive to the dunes, union pier, and new buffalo. Very clean and newly updated. Would definitely stay here again!

Relaxing Farm House

The house was spacious and relaxing. Plenty of beds with a fully stocked kitchen to cook any type of meal. The front porch has rocking chairs and a porch swing that my wife enjoyed. We enjoyed our stay and definitely would recommend.

Good experience

We’ve stayed in this house twice. It works well for two families with kids. It’s clean, has everything you need from towels to dishwasher and laundry pods, to kitchen stuff. Four stars just because in some places the house is a little tired and could probably use a refresh but that would not stop me from staying again.

Great stay!

House was perfect for three couples over a long weekend. Bedrooms were big enough, master was HUGE! Dining room table fit us nicely for meals/games. Fully stocked kitchen and multiple coffee makers was a nice touch. Large yard for games. We did not use the hot tub as it was very hot during our stay. Would def book again.

Outstanding home in one of the most beautiful locations we have ever visited

- really good backyard - nice and close to quaint town and easy drive to New Buffalo and Warren Dunes state park - very comfortable sleeping and hanging out arrangement with great furniture - love the hot tub - scenery being next door to a farm was a nice bonus and being 1 mile from the Journeyman distillery was such a plus. Three Oaks is awesome and we look forward to coming back in the fall to se the foliage and visit wineries. A very well maintained home. These owners created a memorable experience for our first time to Lake Michigan and we were sad to leave. The home is beautiful and worth the price. We found the drive to the beach super easy and next time will be sure to visit Froehlichs for breakfast.

Highly recommend

The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that we had some challenges with the air conditioning but it was fixed within 24 hours. The house is great and was very comfortable for the 8 of us. Very clean and had everything we needed. The location is great. It is easy access to many places and out of the craziness of New Buffalo.! The town of 3 Oaks is minutes away and we really enjoyed it. You are truly in the countryside at the house. Big back yard could and play lots of games out there! The road in the front is busy but we still enjoyed the front porch swing ! when we arrived which took a lot of texting back and forth until around 4 the day after we arrived to get the air conditioning fixed. Lucky there were some fans in the house. . Luckily it was dirty filters so an easy fix. I would just suggest you check those more often and save yourself the headache. Lots of beach towels which was great. We were only given one bath towel per person because they said we had a washing machine and could wash them. It would have been nice to have a few extras. we ended up using beach towels for bath towels which worked fine. Used the grill and it was great too. We would definitely use your house again. ! Thanks !

Three Oaks Farmhouse

We had 2 things about this listing whick made us pick it, a dishwasher and washer/dryer. Being a large group, those were very important. After cheking in, we realized the washer didn't work. That was Sunday when I called the number given for problems and had to leave an electronic message about the issue. On Tuesday, I still hadn't heard anything so I left another message which was responded to. It only asked me to be patient. I don't know how long I was expected to be patient but I NEVER received another message and the problem was not fixed. So two very important wants eere not fulfilled! I did call back on Wednesday and was told the messages go through an answering service who then relays the problems to a "local" office. This local office sucks! It left us feeling like they didn't care about our problems, after all, they already had our money. I don't know if I'll use VRBO again.
