Old property and not kept clean or repaired.
Dark hairs all over the room. Bathroom fan was so creaky we couldnât use it. The toilet seat was loose to the point where the buts were about to fall off. The window was open and I had to remove the screen to pull it closed as we were on the first floor and the area wasnât very nice. Bed sheets and the comforter had stains. Dust balls and crud in every corner. Weâve stayed in worse places but they were overseas
Stayed mid-February, 2025, just coming off an extreme cold week (-20 to -25f for a few days). If expecting to utilize the pool, call ahead before booking your trip...pool was closed due to 'maintenance', which may be due to the fact that they couldn't keep it warm enough in the extreme cold periods of winter. Very friendly staff in a clearly family-run establishment. Rooms were kept cold on check-in (mid-50F) but quickly warmed up with in-room heat. Literally felt like we were the only room occupied...very quiet and overall pleasant stay.
Property was run down and floors were clean, but easy to dirty up in winter as was linoleum. Bed coverings were very stained, we took them off the beds right away. The other linens were clean though. Beds were surprisingly comfortable. The staff was the the star of the place though. Very accommodating and very friendly. It is a nights sleep with a lower price than other places around the town, if looking for a no frills sleep.
Bathroom dirty. No clean towels and wash cloth. Breakfast not good. No butter or jelly for toast or waffles only syrup. Coffee tasted like it was 2 days old.
Did not have a plan for our room...was assigned three different rooms. Floors were so dirty you could see it sitting there. No pressure to even shower decent.
We got to our room about 10 pm. We could hear the next room's toilet and shower like it was in our room. Four people took showers then they turned the music on loud.
Our room was very clean and the bedding very nice. Minimal amenities. We just wanted a place to sleep, so that part was fine.
