'Staff were welcoming and helpful when I checked in and then again when I needed to extend my stay. My room was clean and very nicely appointed. Plenty of room to move around snd the bath was recently upgraded and very nice. I even popped into the bar, for a light dinner and drink. The corned beef rolled were great as was my drink. All in all a wonderful stay and will stay there again. '

'This is a house that dates from 1869 that is kept in that style with lots of old time features, it has got sir con and modernish bathrooms., but if you want taking back in time this is a place to stay. The staff are great and the breakfast too.'
