'The rooms were quiet (not including outside noise of the city), Beds were comfortable and clean. Hotel staff were pleasant and helpful. The hotel met our needs for a long weekend stay.'

'As a solo female traveler, I was a bit surprised at the location of my “first” room. I was at the very end of the hall, next to the stair well and across from the trash room. The hallway did smell a bit because the trash room door was propped open but the room itself did not. I was not comfortable with the location so requested a room change - something closer to an elevator - more in the mix and was accommodated without question. The room was very clean, comfortable and I felt better in the new...

'Usually go here every year, pretty much while visiting family only here to sleep ...It was not that great this time. The AC and the refrigerator were either not on or cooled up. While you have to sign something that you won't smoke (which is fine), the whole place smelled like pot. Didn't use the pool but seemed like others were enjoying it.'

'The hotel is about 5 minutes from Bradley. I arrived at 11 pm and waited only 5 or 10 minutes for the shuttle. This is a typical Springhill with a large room. The property is clean and well-maintained. The staff was helpful and courteous. Breakfast is a typical Springhill breakfast with a mixture of hot and cold items. My only complaint is with the shuttle pick up to the airport. I signed up for a 9:55 am pick up. At 10:10, I asked the desk if the shuttle was on the way. They called and then...

'I have stayed at hotels offering free breakfasts before, but by comparison, those free breakfasts couldn't hold a candle to what ChefRobert at the Holiday Day Inn Express BDL, put on! The eggs were fresh, cooked to perfection, the bacon fresh, crisp perfect! In fact, everything was excellent and beyond expectations! Hats off to Robert, for an excellent culinary experience'

'The hotel was clean, the rooms were comfortable. The staff was very friendly. We didn’t make it to the pool. The buffet was actually great but the pub was disappointing. They had a set menu with very limited options. It would be nice to have more options than just sandwiches.'

'Lovely updated property. Small pool and had issues with the AC in the gym but the lovely staff, nice breakfast and clean updated amenities made up for it. I would return.'
