'OUTSTANDING, is the word to describe our experience. From the moment we arrived until we drove out of the gate we were treated extremely well. Upon arrival our room was upgraded to an ocean view. The room was very spacious and came with all of the usual amenities. Breakfast was fabulous and was cooked to order from three choices. Yogurt, toast, cereal, fresh fruit, muffins coffee and tea were also offered. The General Manager is a real hands on person and deserves recognition for making our stay...

'No so good,there is no safe parking lot for tenants,they stole my car wheel cap 😞 due to dat...not recommendable 😭😭😭'

'Had a mistake with the online booking this is a thing that we find can happen via a portal like hotels.com and has happened to us on a few occasions . The staff here were brilliant though couldn’t help the first night went over and above to ensure the second was in a suitable room we had booked with balcony and sea view '

'Everything was ok....But A big hick up is the fact that they had to buy breafast at wimpy (only from 8am) my day was delayed, because i had to wait for breakfast. If the advertise B&B (breakfast included) - breakfast should be done on the premises and earlier than 8am'

'My family was excited to spend the new year's weekend in east London as we were staying in a rural area just outside. The staff were fantastic and we felt safe and comfortable. Our only regret is the pool needed attention from the time we arrived and never got any up until we left. The pool was one of the draws and it was a bit too far gone for us to even clean with the basket ourselves (which we would have gladly done.) I loved though the space we had and the little braai area and kitchen....

'This was my first time staying at Hillcrest and it was so lovely! The owner and her staff were extremely welcoming, the room was comfortable, breakfast was fantastic. The location is convenience to restaurants, a mall, and the beach. I will definitely be back!'
