'It is an architecturally unique structure. I can't speak for all the rooms, obviously, but my room (traveling alone) with a single king-size bed felt a bit cramped. The room consists of a "living room" with a couch for additional people to sleep (I guess), but the overall layout was a bit awkward to me. The bathroom was also relatively small. 'Staff was exceptional—they reached out to us after I responded with a “meh” to an Expedia query re check in. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Location is great—just about everything in SF is walking distance. It’s an older property and you can hear your neighbors if they are loud. Outside rooms can get street noise. But it’s a solid value for the price (free parking and good breakfast included), especially for families or those who would rather spend their money in restaurants or art galleries...

'Room was clean, staff (other than front desk) were friendly and helpful. WiFi was slow and cable tv wasn’t the greatest selection of channels but we weren’t there to watch tv. The breakfast was the best “continental” breakfast I’ve ever had as there is a kitchen and while the menu was limited, the food was fantastic as well as the coffee.
