Lodges in Unorganized Kenora District

'Although we were only able to stay the night, this was a beautiful off the grid pit stop located on the edge of beautiful Avery Lake. We enjoyed sitting on the dock, listening to the loons calling and reading our books. Ed was a fantastic host. We would love to be able to come back for a longer visit to enjoy all this spot and accommodation has to offer! So many amenities and opportunities if you love Mother Nature!'

'We really enjoyed our trip. Check-in was very easy and host was quick to respond to any questions or issues we had during our stay. Note that the host does have additional adjacent properties that share the lakefront beach/dock. We did not find this an issue as there is plenty of space and equipment to spare but I mention it only as it is not entirely clear on the posting. The lakefront view is beautiful and accommodations were perfect for our family getaway.'

'Don’t expect the Ritz, or contemporary amenities or design. The motel might look like nothing much, but it is actually a very comfortable place to spend a night. It is clean, the shower is nice, the bed is very comfortable. There is a fridge and microwave…all you need. Would definitely recommend!'

'Short time. All good'

'Nice staff, good breakfast, clean'

'Paid extra to book a hotel with a pool for myself and my child on our return home from Winnipeg. Pool was closed and no discount provided, could have stayed at a motel for a fraction of the price.'

'Zeer slecht. Naast een stinkende fabriek. Receptive was gesloten om 15.00 uur. Om 15.15 nog steeds. Uiteindelijk onverrichterzake vertrokken.'

'Loved the stay. But the property needs some basic touch ups.'

'Skip this hotel. The property is so old and carpets were so dirty looking. The bed was clean and tub was clean but had to wear shoes the whole time we were in the room. Pay the extra money and go somewhere better.'

'great staff'

'Redelijke accommodatie in een bloedmooie omgeving. '
