Superb 5 star hotel. Very nice, clean and modern spacious rooms. Restaurant Colony, serves continental dishes as well a local Indian food in buffet or menu. On Sunday's there is special lunch buffet, where locals reserve for to be able to attend. Very friendly and helpfull staff, for me the place to stay when I'm in Chennai!!

Food is good and a nice pool area. Accommodation is very disappointing. We stayed in the apartment wing. Corridors are shabby with stained carpets and damaged doors. A fire door was left ajar ( using piece of cardboard) which is a safety violation. The fittings in the room were worn out and shabby. Air conditioning vents have not been cleaned for ages. Certainly not worth the Euro 300 per night. Quality more befitting a 3 star accommodation. Maybe its time the top managers start doing a walk around to see for themselves. Go for the food and avoid staying.

The pool is spectacular, the ocean views are incredible, and the room was clean and spacious. The staff was also very friendly. However, the amenities were a bit scarce, the in-room minibar wasn't anything special, and the chocolates weren't good either. Plus, there were a lot of mosquitoes at night. But above all, the most important part was spending a special day in the palace with my princess :)
