Corte Barba, the Charm of Salento

Corte Barba is a historic house in the centre of Taviano, 6 km from the coast, where Salento tradition meets modern comfort.
Recently and lovingly renovated, this house is the ideal place for families, small groups of friends or remote workers looking for a cosy retreat away from the daily grind.
Step outside Corte Barba and you’ll find yourself immersed in local life, surrounded by traditional bakeries, restaurants and all the amenities you need.

The house is laid out around a private internal courtyard, which ensures guests’ privacy and provides direct access to the spacious living area and the two bedrooms.

THE LIVING AREA
Thanks to a ceiling over 4 metres high with a traditional barrel vault, the living area is airy and full of light. Here you will find a simple yet well-equipped kitchen (induction hob, dishwasher, microwave). The area is completed by the first of the two bathrooms.

THE SLEEPING AREA
- Bedroom 1
The master bedroom is the most striking room in the house, with a ceiling reaching a height of 6 metres and a wooden mezzanine that opens directly onto one of the upper terraces. The bedroom features a double bed (a French-style bed, ideal for a couple) and a comfortable sofa bed.

- Bedroom 2
For those seeking greater privacy, the second bedroom is a separate room. It features a double bed, standard-height ceilings and its own en-suite bathroom with a shower.

THE BATHROOMS
The house has a total of two fully equipped bathrooms with showers, ideal for avoiding queues when you return from the beach.

COMFORT AND INCLUDED AMENITIES
- Full air conditioning: although the house’s thick walls keep it cool, every room is equipped with its own air conditioning system.
During the winter months, underfloor heating ensures a consistent and comfortable warmth.

- Parking: you can always find a parking space for your car in the vicinity of the property and on the adjacent streets.

The base price is for up to 4 guests. There is an additional charge for each extra guest. Bed linen, bathroom towels and beach towels are included.
