You'll be one mile west of superb skiing, snowboarding, and tubing at Camelback Mountain Resort, one of the most beloved year-round destinations in the region. There are excellent outdoor water slides at Camelbeach Mountain Waterpark one mile east, and USA Today's 2019 number-one indoor waterpark in the country, Aquatopia, is a half-mile further. The beauty of the Poconos is on full display at Big Pocono State Park, two miles southeast, and the ever-popular Pocono Premium outlets are four miles east.

Overall great trip. Great location a little over 1 mile to the mountain. House was in overall good condition. Could be a little cleaner and it was very difficult to maintain a comfortable temperature throughout the house. We had kids ranging from 3–13 and they enjoyed the space, it gave them plenty of room to spread out. We booked through VRBO but kept getting messages that this was through Vacasa, which was confusing. I sent them a message the day before to confirm if certain items were in the house and they never responded. It was not urgent, and there was a phone number of a local property manager in the house , but it does make you wonder . Even with some items to improve on we would not hesitate to book this property again.

Need control Saturday main road to cambelback mountain traffic shut down road 11:06am as ski traffic to cambelback mountain want to ski , cause several people stop they want to ski , go parking lot shuting down main road when people leave north ridege estates homes , causeing back up on main road , 66% time roads where ok going up and down main road to the home , ski guest should be control parking people let people out control , nice shovel deck I could used Bar q 6 inches snow on Deck , maybe leave me nice shovel to remove snow Sunday 2/13/22 8am ., contract want me out 10am , I paid over $2,000 dollars for long weekend , I had clean my own walk way to my cars , brush snow off cars , walk way , as you have 100 rules in hand book , please express them to guest ski , drive to ski parking lots on main road , so guest can drive down road for north ridge estates , staying at home hand book 100 rules as we are guest please stress to to ski parking people and guest to cambelback thank you

The property is beautiful but the heating system is not efficient whatsoever. Baseboards on the main floor are non-functioning and that floor is relying on a heating system from the second floor to heat it. I work in HVAC and we couldn't get the main floor to a comfortable level (and by that I mean above 64 degrees) even after following the very specific instructions on site stating to turn all ceiling fans on to circulate air. The upper level was roasting. We left after 24 hours when we could not make contact with the property manager after several phone and text attempts. It's a great property for a large family provided they can get the heating system to function more consistently.

My stay July 23-25th. As soon as I arrived the front glass doorknob came completely off. The basement doorknob fell off and both sliding screens fell completely off the track. (Patio & basement screens.) My 5 year olds niece was locked in the basement because of the doorknob falling off, what if there was a fire?! Any emergency! Also a huge hole in the screens. The bedding was not changed, clearly wrinkled and used, full of human hair, smelled of body odor, brown and black spotting, and one sheet actually had urine on it. There was a huge yellow stain. Yes, I smelled it. The rugs in the first floor bathroom were not washed, they were dark in color not blue. The refrigerator was not wiped down, there was either spilled drinks or leakage from food. In the description the house was said to be suitable for eight people, we did not receive enough towels for every 8 PEOPLE. All the extra bedding that was in the bedroom closets and the laundry room were not washed. They were just thrown in the closet not even folded! All wrinkled. Rugs smelled of dog urine. It’s a pet friendly home, rugs should be shampooed. I did contact Katie within minutes of arrival(also sent her pictures of everything) and explained all the issues and she was helpful. She did apologize and did send over more sheets. We did not receive enough so I had to go to THE STORE AND PURCHASE TIDE TO WASH THE SHEETS AND RUGS. We were not given enough pods. Upon arrival were given 2 in a house of 8 people(3 being kids.) I’m amazed the reviews are good for this place, yes I did my research and only found good reviews. A few just ok ones. Either the cleaning crew was switched or guest enjoy sleeping in there conditions. The OWNERS SHOULD BE ASHAMED! COVID is still alive and well and you have this house in this filthy condition. I wish I was able to post my video and pictures of this place. I will email them to VACASA. All the money I spent and only received a refund for the cleaning fee. That’s ridiculous, after all the cleaning just to sleep! The stress I had for a vacation that was supposed to be relaxing! DONT STAY HERE!

We arrived at the home and realized we had no hot water around 6 pm. I called the only “customer support” number I could find for the management company and was told that a request for someone to come out would be sent. No one showed up. After numerous calls and emails the next day without any response, we had to leave the home that night. As a family of 5, we couldn’t stay for days without a way to bathe, wash dishes or laundry. The maintenance team could have cared less. Not one time did they contact me or show up to fix the issue. The home itself was very nice but not very clean. My kids’ feet were beyond dirty after playing barefoot in the carpeted basement game room. There was a dirty sock down in between the couch cushions and a dog bone under the chair in the living room. The main tv would not connect to cable either. No instructions or direct line to call or text the homeowner either. It’s really a shame that a nice home in a beautiful spot is not being properly managed. Vacasa customer support teams were all great over the phone but the local people in charge are obviously not doing their job. Not the way we wanted to spend my son’s 14th birthday at all!
