Hôtel Chocorua Ski and Beach, Tamworth

« Absolutely beautiful home. I felt like I was going back in time. I spent Thanksgiving night there and did not encounter another living soul during my visit. Walking through the house was an undescribable feeling, as if I both did and did not belong there (yes a was a guest --but in the wrong century!). Time travel. VERY cool. the most modern technology downstairs was a turntable. Loved the antiques and the bed that you needed a stool to climb up on. Also every detail, from the newspapers talking...

« Very clean modern comfortable room , we had one with kitchenette which was amazing - however it would have been nice to have more lighting in n the kitchenette area Aside constant issues with WiFi - everything was perfect »

« No frills, perfect getaway to relax or a base camp to crash at after a long day in the mountains. Gas fireplace was perfect to warm up after skiing all day. Like the other reviews mention, bring slippers or cozy socks as the floors do get cold (it’s a cabin). Easy, clean and just the right feel. »

« Far from being a high-end hotel but offer a very competitive price in this popular tourist sector of the New Hampshire. The hotel was very clean, renovated bathroom and well maintained. It it's very well located at less than 10 minutes from the commercial and tourist area of North Conway (Settlers Green Outlet, etc.). Absolutely no amenities on site, but it was acceptable for the price. Nevertheless I should point out that the hotel is located at a very busy intersection, so it was pretty noisy....

« This is a very new, well thought out hotel. The pool and fitness room were well appointed. The restaurant has a fantastic breakfast, and even a better view. This is all located within minutes to the ski areas or downtown North Conway. »

« Ce n'était pas la première fois que nous allions à cet hôtel. Par contre, ils ont changé la formule du déjeuner continental inclus. Nous avions seulement pommes, cafés et muffins à notre disposition, pas de grille pain, ni yaourt. Un peu chiche. »

Breakfast was delicious and we didn't need lunch either day. Tippy is a lovely host cat with fluffy pantaloons and Sir Ellis, the delightful black and white cat, ensured that we never forgot where our room was.
