Loved our family vacation in Costa Rica. The house was perfect for our family of 10 plus an infant. Great space and areas to gather as a group. Very secure development. Thank you to the team from Vida who helped make most all of our reservations from car services to excursions to pre-stocking the kitchen with food for the week. We would definitely recommend this house. Having a small pool to enjoy while home was nice as well and we played card games in the pool palapa nearly every night. Lucy came daily to care for the home and was so helpful keeping us organized and clean. We had her come twice to make our group breakfast. The beach club and pool access was a huge part of our time there also. Pool time, workouts, food and drinks and surfing all from the beach club. Lovely beaches! I recommend renting golf carts to get around the property and back and forth to the house from the beach area. A 4x4 car to get around outside of the property is recommended as the roads around the area outside the gates are gravel roads with lots of pot holes to navigate-common in CR everywhere. The entrance for guests or vendors that I hired separately took me a bit of time to figure out how to get a QR code for them to pass the security gates so just make sure to discuss that process ahead of getting there to better navigate your needs. Hope we get to return again sometime in the next few years. Pura Vida!

This place is amazing. A beautifully maintained property and well appointed house. You can arrive and have essential supplies already there. The host was extremely helpful and accommodating. We were provided with excellent and helpful information immediately! Any questions were answered so quickly and helped us plan ahead. The Hacienda Panilla property is huge and does have great restaurants,beach club and a small grocery market. Make sure rent golf carts or a car as most is too far to walk! Great vacation

This beautiful clean well-kept home was the perfect base for our family vacation to Costa Rica. We loved having the housekeeper come tidy up and wash the towels each day. She also made breakfast for us which was the best way to start the day. We definitely hope to return soon!

Amazing week!

I cannot say enough about how amazing this property was. First, the propery is gorgeous and is exactly as the description mentions, so much space and amenities. Second, the location is top notch, the community has a ton to do, from the beach club to the JW Marriott facilities to the golf course. Third, the owners' communication made everything so easy. They were able to answer every question about groceries, activities and dining. They were simply amazing. What a great week! One tip if you rent a car is to have a vehicle that can handle some bumpy roads. The roads outside Hacienda Pinilla are definitely in a state of repair.

Pura Vida!

Everything about this place is spot on, from the housekeeper help to the space of the house and everything in between made this one of the BEST vacations yet! Very quiet and relaxing, lots of wildlife on site as well for entertainment. Property managers communicated with me quickly for all questions and concerns.

Very solid trip

Beautiful house. Perfect set up with bedrooms and baths. Location was nice. Management company was very responsive to any issues we had. Not great restaurant options near by but we got a chef three nights which was great. Beach club is nice however there are no beach chairs there. They nicely allowed us to use some we found in the garage but would be good to add to the house.

Absolutely amazing. Very clean, modern and private. Plenty of room for our party of 8 (we didn’t even use one room!). Very responsive to any questions and gave great recommendations. Housekeeping was amazing and breakfast was great. Only downfall is distance! Which is the theme in tamarindo- it takes about 15 minutes to get out of the neighborhood alone. Definitely get a car. We didn’t really use the golf cart as everything was too far so would skip that. Beach club was closed and Marriot charges $150/pp so just used the beach there for free instead. Would definitely stay here again! Tropical getaway!

Perfect in every way!

Casa Koa was absolutely amazing! Our family of 9 (6 adults and 3 children) had an incredible time at the property. This house has all the amenities you could ever need and from the moment you walk in you are in awe as it is just absolutely breathtaking. The management company was extremely helpful with recommendations and easy to communicate with. We ended up having Chef Garrett cook a meal at the house one night and that was so worth it. We did the horseback riding tour around parts of the Hacienda Pinilla property and that was really cool going to a more isolated beach which we later accessed in our car. Some of our family also did mountain biking around the property and they really enjoyed that as well. I recommend renting a car to get around the large property as well as to go out. I would definitely recommend this property if staying in the Guanacaste area!

Hacienda Pinilla Perfect

The house was beautiful. Having the housekeeper there for four hours each day made for a very relaxing time for me. Who usually has to do everything for everyone lol the beach was convenient On the premises. Getting into Tamarindo takes about 25 minutes and The roads have big potholes. We did rent a large van and did purchase the roadside assistance with it and we did need it because we did get a flat tire which was fixed within hours so just some good advice. We would go back in a heartbeat. Our house were very accessible and did everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible.

Ideal Spot for a family vacation

Casa Koa is a perfect spot for a family vacation - such a fantastic property in a great location in Reserva El Golf and it is managed perfectly by the Vida Pinilla team who is super responsive, helpful and easy to work with. We will definitely be back - incredible week with our family there !

Best experience EVER!

We have stayed in numerous STR's around the World. This one is the BEST we have EVER experienced, by far! Home exceeded our expectations set by online listing. Yuli, our personal Housekeeper, was fantastic. Very Friendly. She cooked our Family an amazing breakfast every morning and then immediately thoroughly clean the home. Property contacts, Mergie and Joel, were readily available for any questions we had. Communicated well and prompt on every question. We really enjoyed all the amenities offered in the community (Hacienda Pinilla), especially the Beach Club and beaches. Very convenient easy to experience many of the activities in Guanacaste region. We highly recommend Casa KOA to anyone desiring an incredible vacation. We hope to visit again soon and will definitely share with Friends.

Couples Group Trip

Casa Koa exceeded our expectations. The pictures don't do it justice. The property is well maintained. The breakfast was tasty. The communication with the host was great. We were a group of 10 and had more than enough space for everyone. The suggestions the host provided were excellent, especially the private caterer. We had Chef Gaston cook for us 2 nights, 1 seafood night and 1 Argentinean BBQ night, both were great! We highly recommend! Looking forward to our next visit.

Sanctuary Indeed!

The Sanctuary was a beautiful home and a perfect set up for our family. Each of the kids had their own space and enjoyed all the wonderful amenities. Gorgeous home! Housekeeper and Joel the manager were great!

We had a wonderful time and would return. The location, layout, overall accommodations were great and we would definitely return! Since this is a brand new property - a few minor suggestions. Either open the owners closet or add a dresser to the other primary bedroom. Also, a couple extra lawn chairs on property and a few beach chairs and umbrellas on hand for use would have been great!

Simply Amazing!

The property was amazing from the moment you walk through the door. Everything you would expect from a vacation home was easily delivered. Joel the property manager and Mergie were excellent and always eager to answer any questions and concerns we would have. The design and layout of the house was perfect. Pool amazingly refreshing! The beds were beyond comfortable and slept like a baby every night. Lol We visit Hacienda Pinilla 2-3 times a year. Thanks again for everything we will be back!
