'We took our 18 yr old here on a trip of Virginia and NC. This house was perfectly located for the hikes and tubing activities we wanted to do. Skyline drive was cool even though it was foggy and drizzling on and off all day. Into Charlottesville one day for tubing on Rivanna river. So glad we have the washer and dryer. Super clean and had extra things like kleenex, coffe and shampoo. Really felt like home. '

'My partner and I had a great stay here. The place was exactly as described and very clean. We loved relaxing outside and taking in the beautiful scenery. The location was directly between the towns of Luray and Fort Royal so there was always a good spot to go for a bite to eat. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to the area.'

'One (probably the smallest) of several lodgings on the property. Overall, a pretty cool place to stay. The whole unit has a subtle sway to rock you to sleep. Personally, I loved it. We stayed in 90 degree weather and the A/C was a LIFESAVER. My only real complaint was one of the other guests in the castle kept leaving the common kitchen a bit messy. Thinking about coming back and trying the hobbit house. We pretty much kept to ourselves, but there are plenty of common areas to hang out.'

'I traveled to Shenandoah national Park and it was struggling to find the best place to stay since the park is such a long park. I’m so glad we chose to stay here. It was a very good location towards the middle. That was also very close to the Luray caverns. The home itself was so nice and spacious. I really like that there was a full kitchen so we could cook instead of eating out the whole time.. '

'My husband and I were looking for a lowkey spring break getaway with our boys ages 4 & 7. Riverfront Cabins was the perfect spot. The owners sent a welcome email once we booked which included details about our stay and a house manual that answered any lingering questions. We stayed in the Bass Reeves cabin which was cozy and perfect for our family of 4. 'Beautiful, inviting property. Central to everything we needed. Hosts were friendly, funny and quick to respond to messages. Would absolutely reccomend this property. Love when communication with hosts is fast, and friendly!! Would go back in a heartbeat!!'

'Peaceful, relaxing, and near to everything. Will definitely be back. We definitely have the privacy we need and still being near everywhere we need to be. The drive is 30 mins to Shenandoa, 1 hr to Luray Cavern and 30 mins to Monticello. We went to winery around as well. Resort is very responsive. Our car is awd and has its own navigation so it worked out fine for us. No cellular service but wifi is great. '
