For $230 per night, I anticipated a more comprehensive experience. The primary benefit is the location, which facilitated a timely check-in and readiness for my flight. However, the accommodation fell short of expectations, particularly in the following areas:
Upon check-in, I was allocated room 111. This number was particularly concerning as it is considered an unlucky omen before a flight. Despite this, the room was unappealing, resembling a hospital room. The disabled toilet and shower were open without a door, the bed was elevated and lacked a television or other furnishings.
The room was also soundproofed, allowing me to hear other guests entering and exiting their rooms. The air conditioning unit was functional but lacked temperature control. Furthermore, during the night, the loudspeaker was activated for a fire alarm test. I was awakened during the first test and fell back asleep, only to be disturbed again for a second test. I find it unreasonable to conduct such tests in the middle of the night. Additionally, the presence of a hand dryer in the room, similar to the public toilet, was a notable feature. The shower water pressure was also weak.
Overall, this hotel is a suitable option for a stress-free check-in and flight preparation. However, I advise against expecting anything more from the accommodation. It would be comparable to a $100 an night accommodation.
