Ocean Lakes is currently making major improvements to the Sandy Harbor Family Fun Center.

As of September 8, 2026, the original indoor pool, outdoor pool, and miniature golf course are closed for construction. Ocean Lakes plans to use the Adventure River as a pool alternative when weather and construction conditions permit. The Game Center and other campground amenities have separate operating schedules.

Ocean Lakes plans to open its expanded Sandy Harbor facilities by Memorial Day Weekend 2027, including a new resort-style outdoor pool, a much larger indoor pool, indoor kids` splash area, two indoor body slides, expanded Game Center space, and additional food-service facilities.

Because campground amenities and operating hours can change seasonally, guests should check Ocean Lakes directly for the most current schedules before and during their stay.

Ocean Lakes is a complete vacation destination. The Sandy Harbor family fun center has the “Splash Zone” water park with slides and lazy river and game center that kids always love. The Nature Center can provide learning during your vacation. There are several playgrounds near the beach, an Olympic size outdoor swimming pool, an indoor swimming pool for year round enjoyment, a convenience store, Sandy’s Meet and Eat restaurant, the Sandy Harbor cafe, and the “snack shak” to grab a bite.

Ocean Lakes charges $15 per vehicle per day for parking. This must be paid directly to Ocean Lakes and is not included in our cost quote. Reservations made in advance can qualify for express check-in, save a few dollars and beat the lines on check-in day.

Ocean Lakes is perfect for a family vacation, away from the traffic and crowds, but still, a short drive to the wide variety of attractions, shopping, dining, and entertainment the Grand Strand has to offer. Luxury shopping and dining are a few minutes north in the Market Commons area. Just a short drive north is all the attractions and shopping of Myrtle Beach, Broadway at the Beach, Coastal Grand shopping center, the Myrtle Beach boardwalk, and one of the world’s largest Ferris wheels. Vacation Rental Agreement - Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions form a binding contract between You and Ass in The Sand Beach Rental, LLC (AiTSBR) effective immediately upon reserving your beach cottage.

With this agreement, you and AiTSBR, wish to agree on the terms of your renting the property on a short-term basis for vacation purposes.

Therefore, the Parties agree as follows:

1. Reservation.

Subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, You will rent the Property solely for short-term vacation purposes between the “Check-In Date” and “Check-Out Date”identified on the reservation. Your lease of the Property will start at 4:00 p.m. on the Check-In Date, and will end at 09:00 a.m. on the Check-Out Date. You may not check in early or check out late without prior arrangements. However, We may require check in to occur later than 5:00 p.m. during peak holiday periods.

3. Rent and Other Charges
