This was our second stay here, and sadly the maintenance of the unit appears to be somewhat not up to par. We always believe in leaving a unit in the same (or even better!) shape than when we use it, but I suppose others don't take the same pride. The cleaners probably were rushed so the stairs (there are a lot) were filthy -- likely because guests wear their shoes in the house!). There were a few things that were worn down - shower toggle in main bathroom was broken and hook was falling off, elevator was broken, power failure on our last day when we tried to use the oven (and it was a holiday weekend so difficult to reach anyone), and the beautiful laminate cupboard in the bathroom was all swelled up like someone had left a pool of water on it. Very sad. Still, the location is simply the best -- hopefully they won't be building in front of this unit as the views are beautiful, though the neighbours who recently sold their unit were concerned. Fingers crossed as this is a gorgeous property in a divine location!
