Cleanliness was a joke. Worst house I’ve stayed at since staying at vacation rentals.
An older house with maintenance issues and repair shortcuts. Although I never expected this house to be new. I own 10 similar houses although older and well maintained as rentals. The house reeks on cigarette smoke. Even though we turned the AC down it would never reach temperature. Bugs in the window seals and built up dust on the ceiling fans had me questioning why this property received glowing reviews on cleanliness. Including the cloudy pool and dirty pool deck. The showers had zero caulk, which means there is without a doubt mold behind them, I’m more than qualified to say that as a licensed contractor and owner of a water damage remediation company. No hot water in the guest bathroom sink, no cold water in the master bathroom sink and no water pressure In the master shower, and toilet that won’t flush. One of the comforters had a red stain on the bedding, I’m not sure I want to know what it was. That same bed was held up by cinder blocks. When I tried telling the property manager the condition he told me if I would vacate the house immediately he would refund my money. So I guess I was expected to ruin my vacation because the reviews and property condition depicted in pictures weren’t correct. After I told him I wasn’t expecting a refund I was making him aware he gave no reply. Yard was also knee high and dock too shallow to pull up a boat at all, so we had to load and unload daily. This house was not as the reviews or photos depict.
