Welcome to REST ASHORED where you can be as active as you please! Boat around Lake Shelbyville in the morning and return home to play a 9-hole round of golf on the Timberlake course in the afternoon. The boat launch is only a mile away so you won't need much leeway to make your tee time. Or to restock the cooler, for that matter. We had a house fire last February, and we were so fortunate to get to stay in the condo for the last 9 mos. They had everything we needed. The owner Stacey was so wonderful to work with the condo manager always made sure we had anything we needed.

Golf course hidden gem

When we arrived it was out of the way and near the golf course… seeing the ports potties in the yard next door was off putting but there was no smell so it was easy to look past them. The house and property was very pleasant and welcoming. Just enough room to be there comfortably. Everything we needed was there for us so we were great! Stacy is professional and friendly and an absolute joy to work with. Accidentally left with the garage door opener but I shipped that back to her once I got back home to NY. I can say I will definitely seek out Stacy next time I need to go to Illinois. Thanks again Stacy! You are the best!

Perfect get away

The condo is nice and clean, and so close to the lake. The experience has been wonderful, and Stacey is great to work with. It backs right up to the golf course, a short walk to the campgrounds, and an easy trail to the lake.

Could not have asked for a better place

Our family has had the good fortune to stay long-term in this condo and could not be happier. The owner and property manager have been absolutely wonderful to work with since the very beginning. They are both very easy to communicate with and respond to any questions quickly. I recommend this cozy getaway to anyone who wants to slow down and enjoy nature.

Much Needed “GIRLS” Trip

We enjoyed our stay very much. We just wanted a place to get together and eat, drink, laugh and make memories. Overall it was a perfect house for us to do this in. Only issue was it was listed with bunk beds , but they were dismantled and the frames were n the garage. We did pull the mattresses out of the closet and use them. Oh and the speed bump entering the property was not marked well and those of us n the back of the SUV got “launched.” We had a great time!

We stopped over on a road trip. Comfortable beds, clean. We didnt use the kitchen except for a nice selection of coffee k cups. I appreciate the kid-proof decor - looks nice without having to worry the toddler will break everything, ha!

Girls weekend

Very nice house, clean and had everthing we needed. It was one bed short of advertised so my neice slept on the sofa rather than the upper bunk. Biggest concern: the front step is quite high with no hand rail. My 74 year old sister fell backwards off of it with hand full of luggage. Fell all the way backwards and hit her head. Also she was just a few weeks out of knee replacement surgery. Could have turned out very much worse than a bump on the head. Also I feel like the restroom in the large bedroom needs a help bar by the toilet. We enjoyed our stay but would not recomend for seniors for these 2 reasons

Everything was great in the house. Grass was 12"s high around the house and the garage could have been a little cleaner of leaves and spider webs. But generally all was very good.

Great little place to stay

It was everything we needed for a weekend stay! The inside was cute and we had all the kitchen supplies to make our own meals. Only cons: The adjoining neighbors porch was unkept. The yard needed mowed with trash in it. (I imagine that blew over from the neighbor's side.) The bunk bed was different than the one in the picture but still 3 twin beds.

Great for the lake

We had a great time staying here with family. It is in a great location making it easy to get the the lake and restaurants. Plenty of room to bring a boat too. Would recommend using Whitley creek boat launch if planning to stay there!

Boating Delight!

We boat on Lake Shelbyville and the property is very close to a ramp. House was nice. Kitchen was very well stocked! Several extra amenities! The garage was an A+ with the extra fridge, grill and utensils. The only thing that I could pick at was the lawn desperately needed to be cut and the firepit was in a weird location on the side of the driveway. Nothing to not want to stay again! I would definitely return!!
